Demigods & Magicians: Percy and Annabeth Meet the Kanes

Ricky Riordan mixes his Greek demigods and Egyptian magicians to present a story that combines the best of both worlds.While Riordan has hinted that the two worlds know of each other, the Kanes and Percy Jackson had never crossed that is until someone decides to mash bits of both their world's together. While the book is basically three short stories that tell one long unified tale, it is fun from start to finish. So worth the read.

Got this as a gift for my sister and it was a success! Rick Riordan is a great author with lots of wonderful books full of awesome characters.

Love this crossover short story.

I'm sure they were published separately somewhere, but this has them all in one book. The first two stories have the two boys meet, and then the two girls meet, and the final one brings all four together.There are a few pictures clumped together in the last story. I don't think that was good placement. They could have been spread around to be in tandem with the events they represent, but whatever. I also noticed in Sadie's solo picture, she's missing her highlights.-The Son of Sobek: 4/5I love how Carter and Percy met. That part was well done and amusing. This story is told from Carter's perspective, and the two spend pretty much the whole story in combat.-The Staff of Serapis: 3/5This one is told from Annabeth's perspective. Annabeth and Sadie have an action packed adventure combating a resurrected god. Neither of them are favorites of mine, but I didn't mind this story. It was better than I expected considering who the main characters were.I think it's funny how for once Percy was more cautious about something than Annabeth. I thought she would have had the same thoughts as Carter did in the first story, but she didn't. She just rolled with everything, no secrets, without a second thought.-The Crown of Ptolemy: 4/5The final story, told by Percy. It was kind of him to make his first meeting of Carter sound more dignified than it actually was.This story shows a lot of mixing of Greek and Egyptian magic. It made the story and combat rather interesting.I love how Carter and Sadie are just like alternate versions of Percy and Annabeth.

If you want your 10 year old boy to fall in love with reading this is the book you want to buy. My son loves it and tells me about it after his bedtime reading.

Best book ever. Didn't realise it would be so good but it just proves so. Amazing blend of Greek and Egyptian worlds. Will give you a summary. If you don't want spoilers then turn away love how Percy and carter meet. So, for the record, first Percy and carter meet, then annabeth and Sadie meet. Later this guy called setne wants to become immortal and take over the world. Like the average villain right? Anyway, he tries to take over the world, and in the final battle, Percy and stone free fall into the water and gets setne in a chokehold, and throws setne to the ground.Then Percy and the others imprison setne because setne is still alive. Percy wins!!!!! Yay thank you for taking the time to read this review. Bye!

Il libro non ha bisogno di presentazioni, è bellissimo , fa parte di una serie di collection. Questo libro introvabile, ho faticato a trovarlo , era leggermente rovinato agli angoli, ( sembrava consumato / riposto male/ usato ) ad ogni modo , era completo con tutte le pagine , mio figlio di 8 anni è appassionatissimo li sta leggendo tutti .
