I've been following the author of this book, Guy, on social media for a couple of years now, because he posts the most uplifting and wholesome webcomics online (for free!). In each of his posts, he encourages you to think about a daily "smile question" and to see the world in a more optimistic light.In a day and age where caring about our mental health and well-being is shown to be crucial, a book like this is perfect for self-reflection and for slowing down. It asks you to creatively examine different parts of yourself, while making you smile with all of the adorable drawings and comics inside. The majority of the comics are exclusive to this book, too! I'm a psychologist working with teens. I follow the author on instagram and got excited when I saw this book. While it's made to be a personal journal, I can totally see using some of the pages with my clients to help get them thinking more positively. It will definitely be a book I recommend to clients wanting self-help type journaling and to fellow therapists!

I’ve been following this artist on Instagram for years, and these comics bring so much joy! This book made me smile from the very first comic. I had originally purchased this book for the comics because I’m not really into journaling, but the writing prompts are simple, fun, and relaxing. The best part of this book is the details from the colorful text to the cute stickers.
