SeaguarSmackdown High Visibility Braided Fishing Line, Flash Green, Multiple Sizes

As the title says. I’m very impressed with this braid. I’ve been through a lot of braid, tried a lot and this stuff comes out on top, the strength and smoothness of casting is great, color fade is there but it lasts a lot longer than power pro. This topped off with some Seaguar Tatsu fluoro for leader just works extremely well. I’ll be interested to try other sizes but 15lb test works great for what I do. Highly recommended it.

NOTE TO THE SELLER: You need to update your title! This is NOT Fluorocarbon line! This is braided line. VERY different!This is the smoothest and most round 8 strand braid I have ever used. The line virtually jumps off my rod on every cast. I am getting a noticeable difference in distance. The high vis green color is very noticeable out on the water which is exactly what you want in a high vis line.I've been fishing all my life and at 50 years old I feel I have come close to buying almost every brand of braided line on the market. This has been the only line that has been worth paying a premium price for. Everything else has essentially been pretty much the same, at least in performance. So if you want the best you can get, then get this. If you don't want to pay the price for this stuff, then just get the 8 braid Hercules because it's cheap and just as good as any 8 strand braid I have used except obviously for this Seaguar Smackdown.

Ibhave tried most and this braid is awesome . I use the 65# smackdown on all my baitcasters . Casting great , super strong and never fails . I skip under docks all day long everyday . This line doesn't fray on wood or cables in dock skipping . Amazon runs sales on the 300 ad 65# sometimes that is amazing deal . I am constantly checking for when it is on sale to buy and fill my garage with a years supply

Over the past 10+ years I've used a number of different braids on both my spinning and casting reels. This Smackdown is pricey compared to some other braids but it's the best braid I've used on spinning gear. It's softer and quieter through the guides than any braided line I've used.I don't recomment this line on casting reels only because of how easy it frays when fishing in cover. Wether you want a 4 strand or 8+ I think there are better options at lower cost.

This line is on the expensive side but is probably the best I have ever used. Ties easy, doesn’t twist, doesn’t fray and has no memory. Compared to other braided lines this is the best I have found. I’ve only used the 10# line for Speck fishing in South Florida but with most line you need to remove 5-10 feet after every trip to get rid of the fray. I fish this line a year (30-50 trips) and change it yearly.

I purchased this to spool up a jigging rod I mostly for walleye fishing. The line spooled onto the spinning reel great. The line as very little memory, and has done well against nicks - lots of zebra mussels where I fish.I replace the line every year, and will respool with this line again in 2025.

Saw this being used on numerous fishing shows so decided to give it a shot. I never run full spools of any new yearly line on any rods (spinning or casting) instead I leave about 80 to 100 yds of old line to use as a backing and save $$$. This smackdown performed flawlessly. Its super sensitive and super smooth. Actually found myself wanting to use it all day which in itself say alot as the other 14 rods in the boat (not spooled with seaguar) sat idle. Fish after fish (a mix of smallies and walleye) came into the boat without issue. I did have a 7 foot leader of mono tied to this. Upon setting the hook on yet another fish it didn't take long (2 seconds) to realize I had something BIG on the other end. 25 minutes later and I was sliding my hands (carefully and skillfully) into the gillplate of a 45 inch Northern Wisco. Musky. This line is insane. The only thing negative I can add is that after a summer of fishing it did loose its color. Not completely but definitely noticeable.
