Eternal: Shadow Falls: After Dark Paperback – Bargain Price, October 28, 2014

This is a good second book of the trilogy that wraps up several points while also continuing and deepening some of the overarching plot points that started in the first book. This is a ya series that is really only appropriate for those 15 and above. The author creates in Della a deep character who is full of life and determined to do what is right. There is a course plenty of teenage angst and drama but it is less of a factor in the after dark series. Even though there is elements of a love triangle still about it does feel as if this book focus more on one side of that triangle as we see Della open up. I do not really like love triangles mainly because the end up almost all the time presenting the character as someone wishy-washy and weak.The style in which the story is written in a way that the majority of the chapters contain a weak cliffhanger what you supposed to into the next chapter but in reality serves as a speed bump in pacing. This may come down more to my personal taste than any actual fly on the writters part.

The best book in the series yet!! Every one of the books in the Shadow Falls series, from the first to the last was fantastic!!! This series of Shadow Falls After Dark..was that and some . The story of Della and how she develops into a smart, caring and still feisty young lady is amazing. Ms Hunter sure knows how to develop a character and have you grow with them. Watch them make their mistakes and feel their pain as well. You laugh, cry, and even feel the their heartache. Their feelings, their insecurities and their successes become part of you. It brings me back to my own teen years..so long ago...and yet, as if it was yesterday. Della, Kylie and Miranda bring back memories of my own dearest friends growing up a n thru High School. It's as if I have become a part of their lives and they a part of mine. I feel empty now that I ha finished this book in record time for me..one day. I did not get any sleep last night..nor did cook any dinner yet for myself.. I am going to be very impatient until next July when the last book comes out. I couldn't even hope for other spinoffs the series because all their lives are intertwined and overlap, but when this series ends hopefully Ms Hunter will take pity on us and continue on with t h e other characters and also bring these kids to full adults and being productive with their gifts in a paranormal world, helping others to adjust. Thank You Ms Hunter for a GREAT series. The best I have read,,and believe me I have read many terrific ones.

So far a good series. Each author that writes books about vampires always tries to make them have different abilities than other authors. I'm not too big on the vampires abilities (like running so fast they are flying) in this series but the story line is good. I'm​ hoping that as I continue to read these books that I get to see more of the other supernatural characters lives. If not, then I would love to see a "spin-off" involving any of them. Several are underdeveloped but it makes the reader want to now more about them.

This book was packed full of action, secrets, revelations, and some pretty heartbreaking moments. Once again there were some slow parts but not enough to take away from the story. So many questions about Dellas family, at times I got a little confused. I could not believe what happened with two of the characters. I loved learning more about Chase but hate that him working for the vampire council is going to ruin things. The whole storyline involving the ghost was really good. I hope Della doesn’t react without giving him a chance.

Eternal is the second book in the Shadow Falls After Dark Series ...... I love this series and this author, the stories are written beautifully and you can not put them down once you start! This story is more about Della and Chase and both these characters are two of my favorites...Della andChase are reborn vamps that are both working as undercover agents, Della for the legal side and Chase for the not so legal side....they're bonded which we still don't know if that means they are together forever like in love or just can feel what the other is feeling???? I'm hoping for the first part.... yep hopeless romantic that I am...This is a fast moving story that left me with a cliffhanger from hell..... but I will be here patiently waiting for the next book!!!

OOOHHH.eeemmm.GGGGGGI cannot our this series down!!!! I have read the first 5 and the next 3 will be delivered any day and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!! There is 10 books in all and I think 4 or 5 e-book kindle short stories.I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

The after dark series is a great companion series to shadow falls it follows Dellas charecter and is so exciting and different very highly recomend. I got this used and it had a sticker on the face and one bent page for the price it was great and in quite good condition came quickly

I love this book series I came across a different book from the same series at the airport (Reborn) and fell instantly in love with the series, I immediately bought the rest of the series. I read them all until the most recent one that I just started reading. C.C. Hunter along with VC Andrews, Danielle Steel and Janette Oke are my favorite authors. This series is a page turner, I can sit and read one book in a day if I am not distracted. I highly recommend this series if you are interested in paranormal or supernatural stories.

I was so excited to read this and it was better than I imagined. The story continues with Della trying to figure out the mystery that is Chase while trying to work out her relationship with Steve AND dealing with the problems of a ghost. I love Della because of her sassy attitude and there were humorous moments where I literally laughed out loud. The plot had so many twists and turns and I just couldn't put this book down; it was truly addictive. The story ends on a real cliff-hanger at which point I was simultaneously saddened because the book had ended but excited for the next one. Cannot wait to see how this series ends!

This is one of the most moving books I’ve ever read. As a teen I think it’s a perfect mix of common teen problems and the impossibly fantastic world C C Hunter creates.

The whole Shadow Falls series just keep getting better and better. The characters are excellent and getting into their world is so easy the way C.C. writes - I can't wait to read the next one.

Really enjoying the Shadow Falls series and after waiting for over a month for this book, I was not disappointed. (Review by Lindy Caple)
