pretty good for the price..biggest concern was if I would be able to apply heat without damaging the synthetic hair..and IT DOES NOT BURN! pretty happy.. nice and thick. Length is as described. minimal shedding, only cons are that very close to the "scalp" are very short spiky hairs that feel kinda gross when running your hands through it also the clip it comes with is a bit flimsy. Otherwise this is pretty good

I really like this mannequin head, the hair is super long and seems like good quality, combs out easily and is good density. My only complaint is that it smelled AWFUL. It stank up the entire room, someone said it smells like mothballs, I'm not sure what those smell like but it's vey unpleasant. I washed it several times and it still reeks. I'm gonna keep it outside for a while, hopefully it'll air out after a few days.

Bought it for 11 year old daughter to practice hair styles. Face is painted a little rough. Kind of creepy - she screamed when she pulled it out of the box which I found quite funny. But, good for practice. Some hair fell out at first but seems to be holding up ok. Have not tried any heat styling or coloring.

Sheds A LOT, doesn't stay on stand the greatest and the hair color is darker then in the photo. But I love the length of hair and it is taking to my hot tools very well. I've enjoyed practicing updos on it.

I purchased this head to practice braiding and updos. I was pleased with how quickly I received it in the mail and even more pleased when I pulled it out of the box. The hair is very long, great density and the texture is perfect for the very reason I made the purchase. I would definitely give this a 2 thumbs up for anyone who wants to practice their braiding and updo techniques.

The hair is a little hard to braid and it's a little too attached to its original part. For the price I guess that it's okay, but if you're more serious about hair I'd recommend something a little better.

This thing is so cheap and sheds everywhere. Because it is a natural and synthetic blend (although show me the natural hair in this thing, it feels all plastic), it doesn’t hold shape or product as easy and you have to use very low heat on it. The extra star is because yes, it was a good price and it worked well enough when I needed it for practicing some braid work. Not the best for updos though. Just need to bite the bullet and get a Pivot Point.

I ordered this mannequin head to practice braids and updos. I curled her with an iron and she was fine. I don't know what her hair will be like for coloring, because I don't plan on using her for that. I would say that you should be prepared for a long wait for her to arrive, though. That so the only draw back.
