My difficult-to-feed toddler has loved her snack spinner, so we got a second one for packing school lunches as she starts pre-k this year. It is easy for a three or four year old to independently open, spin, and close tightly. Spins smoothly and easily (pushing the center button). Dishwasher safe, which is so helpful for cleaning. The sections aren't spillproof, so while we put condiments like ranch in it at home, that doesn't work for on-the-go if the spinner tips.

My kids love these snack organizers and it's a great way to offer several choices at once. They're also perfect for traveling because they're easy to take and very compact. They are also fun and engaging when children have to push the spinner to get a new box to open. I would definitely buy these again. I even send them in my kids lunch boxes! they are super fun and very durable. We most recently took them on vacation with us and use them the whole week.There are perfect for the plane and car rides especially.

My child is obsessed with this container! It really is a fun way to carry snacks. The plastic used isn't of the greatest quality (I think it's very overpriced for the quality, if you're used to Oxo products or Beaba products, you will be shocked) but it's good enough. I wish the inner part (that holds the food) were stainless with just the lid being plastic instead of all plastic, or at least silicone but the innovative design made me keep it.It's easy to clean (dishwasher top rack), and easy for the child to use (age 2).Cons:- it leaks (I put some sliced cherry tomatoes in and it got all messy around). For my fruit and veggies lover, that limits my options unless I can keep the container perfectly up at all times while carrying it. It's okay for a cooler but a no for a backpack.For dry snacks, this is not an issue- It's really small. You'll definitely need to either bring 2 or any other backup container of food for a full morning.If they release a larger version I'll likely buy it.If they release a healthier material version (silicone or stainless for the part that holds the food), I would likely buy several of them because I do enjoy the fun design and so does my child.

Easy cleaning, easy to use

I purchases my first GoBe snack spinner when my son was about 9 months as a way to have snacks on the go. As he's gotten older (13M now) I use this more for at home dry snacks to give him variety without making much of a mess. I like that the button is big and easy to push, once he figured out how to push the button (around 11M) he was way more independent at snack time. I obviously also love these for on the go. We've had 4 weddings this summer, along with wanting to get out and go on day trips of our own and I always pack one of these with us. I did once lose a section of snacks when I was packing the car, the lid doesn't close amazingly tight, but I'm ok with that because it's easy for my son to open on his own, I wouldn't want it to be too tight where he couldn't get in to it. I ended up ordering a second spinner in blue, one to use and one to wash, and the only thing I wish this one had vs the blue one is the carrying handle that comes with the spinner. The handle is great for travel so I can attach it to his stroller and not worry about it falling off. I've thought about having my husband drill a hole in this one but don't want to risk him breaking it. This is definitely something we cannot live without!

Dry dog food can spin out if not careful. Otherwise it would be nice if the food door slid inside of the unit instead of swinging open and then swinging back to hope it snaps shut.
