it was so easy to install that I thought it wasnt' going to work. it fit perfectly. I couldn't find this cartridge anywhere but on amazon. Glacier Bay is only sold in Home Depot and I couldn't find it on their website, bummer!! BUT it worked. I cleaned the faucet and it looks and works like a new faucet. It should last another 7 years. Thank you for selling this item, this piece saved me lots of money and time.

Works great. Replaced my leaking Glacier Bay shower cartridge that the orange home improvement company didn’t carry in the store. Make sure you match up the exact part because there are several styles for Glacier Bay. As others have said, if cold and hot water are reversed you need to rotate the cartridge 180 degrees. Notice that there are two “up” arrows on the plastic, which is a little confusing.

Perfect, exact replacement for my 10-year-old glacier bay shower faucet cartridge, as advertised. Easy installation, only basic tools needed (philips head screwdriver, water pump pliers, allen wrench). The only caveat is that the cartridge arrived partially disassembled. Basically there's really only one right way for the parts to assemble so it's not a big deal to figure out, but if you're not familiar with these units (like me) it may take some head-scratching. I somehow inverted part of the assembly, installed it, turned on the water, and the hot came out first (COLD should always come out first). So I just took it apart again, saw the error and reassembled and reinstalled, works perfectly now. The important thing here is that it technically IS possible for it to go together incorrectly, so pay attention. When installed, the handle should operate smoothly, not with a "clicky" movement, as mine did initially. Sure beats calling a plumber.

Replaced leaky cartridge in Glacier Bay shower handle. Installed quickly but the hot and cold were reversed. I had to reinstall the cartridge upside down for this to work. This doesn't look right based on the tab locations on the cartridge, but it did the trick.

This was a nice replacement part at a decent price. All three of my showers use this type of mixing cartridge for temperature control, and I replaced all three. Up to this point, no shower was holding a steady temp, and we were thinking it might be the fairly new tankless water heater causing the issue. After replacing the first part, that shower was able to achieve a hotter temperature and hold it steady, and we knew that it wasn't the water heater. I immediately ordered new parts for the other showers and replaced them as well. They are all still working perfectly. Each repair took 10 or 15 minutes, tops. Make sure you keep the orientation correct as you take the cartridge out...it has it's own parts and can be easily taken apart or moved so that the orientation of its parts will be wrong. Worked to replace a cartridge that was not flowing hot. Perfect fit, no leak great water pressure.

This is a exact replacement for our Glacier Bay shower valve. They always work great for almost a year. THEN it starts hasing pressure and mixture problems. It’s either to hot or to cold with no happy medium and the pressure slowly drops over time to a noticeable difference. Then it gets to a point of ok it’s time to get a new one.. I give it 3 stars because it does work, but only last about a year.

Put the replacement part in before installing into shower. This part I made better than the original part in the aquasource shower unit. Using the aquasource cartridge as the back up.
