Xan's Feisty Mate, Iron Wolves MC 2

I loved the story line, with the psycho mom and the dumb*^@ biker wolf who jumps to conclusions about his own mate without ever discussing it with her. It’s a dark story with some attempted abductions and a lot of smart mouth comments to lighten things up a bit.What I didn’t like was the fact that Breezy didn’t make Xan grovel and wait after all the crap he spouted about her being a w*^$e. She just caved the minute he decided to take an interest in his mate.I have never read an Elle Boon book before and I am not sure if I want to read another one or not. The overall story is well written with a good flow and few to no edits and the story line is pretty cool. Granted I don’t like how fast Breezy submitted to Xan but that is the only part I think is flawed and I don’t think that should be reflected in the over all rating which why I am giving Xan’s Feisty Mate a 4-star rating.

What I truly love about this series, is that it is interwoven with the Phantom Force Series and the Mystic Wolves Series. This is the story of Kellen and Laikyn.Kellen is the alpha of the Iron Wolves pack. He is the one in charge of protecting the pack. But there is one pack member in particular that he wants to be closer to, the feisty, sexy doctor that has his blood boiling and him seeing red, Laikyn.Laikyn knows that in order to get Kellen out of her system she needs to leave the pack and go back to her home and the practice that she shares with the handys doctor twins. She knows that the one night oh so long ago where she and Kellen hooked up is what she compares all others to, but Kellen has a revolving door of women and she needs to get away from him if she ever wants to be free.When Laikyn's life is in danger from an unknown force, it will force Kellen into full alpha force and he will have to face the feelings that he has been denying for years, Laikyn is it for him and he will kill anyone that tries to harm his beautiful mate.I loved the dynamic between Laikyn and Kellen. Both try to dance around the issue until Laikyn is in trouble and then they cannot deny the chemistry, the heat and the passion that they have for each other. Laikyn is worried that she will be nothing more than a notch in Kellen's bedpost and Kellen needs to come clean that there has been nobody since her.I love that this series overlaps with the other books in the Mystic Wolves and the Phantom Force series. Allowing the worlds to expand and the reader gets to visit their favorite characters from books past. I totally look forward to the next book in this amazing series and cannot wait to see Kellen's sister fall for her mate.I give this amazing book 5 wolfish stars.

Her inner strength is about to be tested, and she will have to decide if she is willing to give her heart to the one man that she has always wanted.Will Xan be able to protect what has come to mean the world to him, or will the past destroy any future that he and Breezy could have together?Xan and Breezy are AMAZING together! I absolutely loved them when they finally got together and Xan quit fighting the mating pull. Xan is a total badass and Breezy is stronger than she gave herself credit for, and shows that she is a badass in her own right! The chemistry of the characters is awesome and the book will pull the reader right into the storyline and not let them stop reading until the last word. There is the right amount of danger, steamy hot sex scenes, and intrigue. This series keeps getting better and I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Especially since Breezy turned out to be the total opposite of what Xan thought she was.The fight and action scenes in this story brought heart-pounding excitement! Along side them we get the incredible smoking HOT HOT HOT sex that will put you on your knees. We also get some incredible, sexy brand new characters that will have you curious to know what will happen in future books. This story was freaking FABULOUS, from start to finish and I am already BEGGING for the next one! I hope Miss Boon doesn't keep us waiting for long, because this series is incredibly enjoyable.Miss Boon takes us for one ride after another in Xan's Feisty Mate. I'm so confused🤔 I swear I'd read this series because I'm a big fan of miss Boon's! I always give the books I read a rating and a review and I guess I did not do this😕 So I'm doing it now loved it!!!

No plot spoilersNo potential triggers although there are some descriptors of child abuseThere are quite a few grammatical errors and numerous occasions when the incorrect words are used. The editing is often poor with several instances where the characters are mixed up, and I sort of got used to the dialogue being thrown in with the previous characters dialogue.It's all about the fated mate angle with the usual plot devices utilised but although it has issues and isn't the strongest plotline it's still an ok book for the genre.There are some sex scenes and some swearing

I love this series and have read them many times over. Xan was an idiot but glad he came to his senses. Poor Breezy and all she went through. I cannot get over who was behind it all.

Breezy’s mother is sent packing after her father and brothers come home to witness the abuse she kept hidden from the. But years later her hateful mother is back and out for blood. Adult fantasy romance

I did enjoy this book but the reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because I feel the characters could have been established more, we don't get to find out about their past interactions and they don't exactly fight the attraction even though it's alluded to that they will. Could be more well rounded but it's a sexy and fun read

I really enjoyed this shifter romance with plenty of action. The use of easy to follow dialogue without over complicating the story has been achieved. The characters were great, sassy & sexy . It's my first Elle Boon book & it won't be my last.
