I have a sennheiser HD450SE and one of my absolute favorite feature of the headphone is the locking of the headphone jack. This is an advantage and (regretfully) a massive disadvantage that requires a shaped 2.5mm jack that allows to go through the little lip in the hole.This one does fit through but you can't twist the jack to "lock" it in place. I had to use a small precision knife to shave off some material but after that,it locks in no problemo

this says it will work in "Sennheiser Momentum3 Momentum2 HD400S HD1 HD4.50SE HD450BT HD4.40 HD4.30G headphones cable." I have the 4.50BT and it doesn't work. Like they plug in, music plays, but it doesn't lock into place. It doesn't just fall out either, but any tug on the cord at all even with clothing or my backpack and it will get ripped out. Does not fit into my headset. Audio quality is fine, cord seems of good construction but I only got it for my sennheisers and it didn't fit as advertised. I'm sorry Geekria, I wanted so bad to give you a good review but couldn't :(

Like the headline says, it's cheap, and it works, but it's not Good. The cable is what I'd call "noisy" - any tap or brush against something like your shirt will transfer up the cable into the cup of the headphones and you'll hear it over your music. The molding on the end that attaches to the headphones is a lot longer than the original and that makes it more likely to catch on your hair or shirt and is extremely tight and took more force than I'm really comfortable using on headphones this expensive to get it seated and locked. At least the cable is unlikely to come out on accident? If you need a replacement in the short term until you can find a higher quality or original replacement, this will do. Otherwise, don't bother.

I needed a replacement for my Sennheiser headphones. This works though it does not fit securely in the headset (as in it doesn't rotate in deep like the original one did). This hasn't been a problem since I'm using it for when working at my desk on my computer.

Long enough if you are plugging into a headphone amp or portable device in your shirt pocket. Too short for anything else.

When I plugged the cord into my headphones, the sound only came out of one side of them.
