The Club: A Novel (Dell Romance a Dell Book)

A truly decadent story. Filled with dark pleasures, mystery and tortured souls. In this book the main characters and the secondary characters try to find closure and healing from dark pasts. A story of true friendship and the pursuit of a HEA.

At first I was unsure. I usually fall in love with the characters right away. This took a couple chapters but I am glad I stuck with it. There was a lot going on, in a good way. Yes it is a romance, but it is so much more.

The story is a bit different and the plot moves along quickly. Except for the vampire books, I like Sharon Page's writing.

I loved the read. I don't go if for deep and meaniful read. Just a good read with a little excitement and good story,

It is taking so long for the characters to develope,that I stopped reading it. I'm going to give the book another shot though, meaning I will try reading it again.

I enjoyed this book so much especially the second half because that is where the action and romance start. Christian and Jane meant to be together even though they don't know it yet when they were young. I love the happy ending. Excellent work Ms. Page.

I like this type of story...a bit of adventure, as well as some erotica with love and discovery all thrown in together....Not a bad combination. You can read this story on one of those days where you need to pass the time. Not bad at all.

I did like this book took me a while to get into the time period but brilliant once I got my head around it

What a romance...something different from all the typical stories about rakes and virginal debutants or intelligent but left over spinsters...Lord Wickham with his nickname Lord Wicked turned over the years to be a formidable rake and scoundrel. Childhood friend Lady Jane Sherringham had a very hard and torturous marriage lasting for eight long years...Now (for allready 13 months) is she a widow and her best friend (also Lord Wickhams sister) Lady Delphina is missing for almost two weeks. Lord Wickham has returned from India and is searching for his sister...and he meets Lady Jane in the "Club" a very sexual, wicked place where the english ton goes to have a different very sensual entertainment...They decide to join forces in the quest of Lady Dels place where she is kept in prison.- I liked the book very much because as I said in the beginning the main characters are not the usual ones from regency-romances.- The characters of Lady Jane and Lord Christian Wickham were very good described and absolutelly logical.- There are a few very nice written sexy scenes that makes the whole book very enjoyable- And last but not least the search for the vanished Lady Del is really eventful.

This book was a nice surprise for me as I have read my way through many hot romance novels out there and very few managed to combine an adventurous love story, nicely shaped characters and originally written erotic scenes. I loved it! I definitely recommend this book!
