Very Impressive Helmet
I bought several different Helmets. It came down to 3. The Scorpion EXO-AT950. Loved this helmet but it was $289. The O'Neal Sierra II. Nice Helmet at $140. And the ILM $70. I really wanted the Scorpion because it was MODULAR but at the end, it was $220 more then the ILM. As far as the O'Neil, the internal visor hits the top of your noise and also does not move smoothly. I also sent email to ILM support to see if they had parts and they replied within 24 hours saying they did, so they were very responsive. I also like the quick connect strap on the ILM versus traditional D-Rings on the other two. So once I ruled out the expensive option, it was a pretty easy choice between the O'Neal and the ILM with the ILM about 1/2 the price of the O'Neal. So very happy with the ILM and highly recommend it. FYI I ordered one size over my measurement and fits great. I will still get the Scorpion one day when I have a little extra cash.....

Outstanding Customer Service, and great helmet
I ordered this helmet because it was well priced for trail riding.I have to say when it arrived it became apparent it was a very nice helmet for the price. Unfortunately the helmet was a little large for me, I contacted the company and they shipped me (free of charge) a smaller insert! What fantastic customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend purchasing through them, I am thoroughly impressed

Good value
The sizing on this helmet seems to be just about right for me . I normally wear either a small or sometimes a medium. I ordered a small on this helmet and it fits perfectly. The clear face shield seems to fit well and is easy to remove for the use of goggles. The optics of the sun visor could be better and cause things to be slightly distorted. I have no way of knowing if other helmets are affected. For an inexpensive helmet this one fits the bill.

Overall good helmet - XXL
From appearance and fit it seems to be a good value for the price. I tried other 'more expensive" helmets (LS2) and they fit horribly (way too small). This helmet fit well and I used the sizing chart - and ordered one size larger then suggested. Came delivered in a standard helmet carboard box, helmet in covered in a cloth bag inside the box. If my opinion of the helmet changes after wearing for a while, I'll update the review. One week review- Wore it for about an hour ride - helmet is a little loud and the wind does tend to catch it. But I bought it with the intention of using it on and off road. (WR250). Works well for what I needed.

This is probably the best helmet I've ever used.
I own several bikes ATV's etc and this is one of the better helmets I own also. I ordered it on Amazon last minute for an ATV trip thinking it will be a good cheap backup helmet. This actually turned out to be way better then my main helmet. The built in shades are amazing. They flip up or down so easy. Same for the main glass shield. It's comfy it looks great and I love the locking chin strap that lets me easily retched up or down the tightness.

Bought one then another three!
Bought one then another three! An XXL for me and found the extra chin room made the difference as opposed to a street helmets that were always tight front to back. This is perfect all around. I surprised myself by shouting almost subconsciously after a day ride, "I can can wear this all day long, all day long!" So bought another XXL as a spare, and a Small, and Medium for passengers/guests, plus three spare face shields. Done, Done, and Done!!!!!!!

Decent helmet when you get past the fact it's hard to put on and take off
The size I ordered was big enough to accommodate my head however putting it on was it tight fit until you got it on in which case then it felt more roomier constantly when I hit bumps slides down on my face so it doesn't sit right hard to get off after I put it on hard to put on unless your face is staring directly in the hole and then you tilt it when it gets past your ears to get on your head.

On the fence on this one.
I measured my head and followed the sizing guide and what was sent feels too tight. Since this helmet is so well priced I figure I’ll try to wear it in a bit. They always become looser over time anyhow. It is well constructed, feels high quality, has ok aerodynamics. I wouldn’t say it’s quiet but I wear earplugs anyhow. Mainly bought this for off road low speed riding. It works well on the highway though you can feel the drag of the visor. Easy to remove it. It’s not modular so if you’ve had a modular helmet you’ll feel a little trapped. The built in sunglass visor is a nice touch and the main visor works well and is fairly correct as far as I can tell. I can see clearly. There’s not a lot of ear space to install speakers so I probably won’t. Again it’s for mostly off road use. Will report later. Dollar for dollar if it fits you and you can wear an oval shaped helmet (your head is NOT shaped like a pumpkin) then you should be fine.

Ups and downs
I may have gotten a helmet with a bad visor seal. I am experiencing a lot of wind creeping through the visor seams and in turn its drying my eyes out, promoting early fatigue. The drop down inner visor does not come down far enough and creates a glare, it is also not very tinted and has an off green hue. That glare that comes off that edge of the inner visor has been dangerous at times, blinding me as I drive into a sun set and distracting me on a normal drive.I have a Torc T15 helmet and the complaints I speak of here are void within the T15.It's a possibility that I got a bad helmet from ILM because I do see lots of good reviews.Pros- Soft padding on the inside feels nice on the face, and the helmet looks good in general.

Purchased this for winter fat ebiking and combatting cold and extra safety. Doesn't disappoint.
For starters, I only started ebiking during the pandemic, and purchased a fairly powerful 4" fat tire ebike last January. I immediately lowered my psi to 7, and went off on well-walked on snow covered trails around where I live. I quickly found out how much fun riding in the winter can be. I also found out how painful it is to fall on black ice so not only did I purchased this helmet, I also put on studded tires. The helmet looks and feels great. I've only used it once last weekend. I should have stayed home as the snow on the waterfront trails in the Toronto area were covered still in deep snow that make riding almost an impossibility. I hiked-a-bike for 3km. Not a lot of fun, but man did I get a workout.I took a fall during the ride, but landed in so much drift that it was like falling into a giant bean bag. No impact to the head at all and no connection to the concrete walkway somewhere below. At all. So I can't say I've tested the helmet to it's full potential....hopefully never have to.But, I ended up ordering up a size up and got the XL. Wearing only a thin balaclava, I'm still able to comfortably slide into the helmet and didn't feel uncomfortable in the fit during the ride.I did however, get so hot that I ended up taking it off. But that was only because of the aforementioned hike-a-bike. It was actually less exhausting doing that, than trying to ride. To say I got hot would be a vast understatement. My clothes were soaked. But I digress...The helmet feels like a premium motorcycle helmet (I used to ride), and is way more comfortable than any other helmets I owned when I did ride.It comes in a nice drawstring bag for storage, which is great if you want to keep it in the garage by your bike/ATV etc....The chin clasp is easy to use and I was able to use it even with my medium thick riding gloves on. Actually, the same can be said for the drop-down sunglasses, which I also was easily able to operate without taking off my gloves.Until the hiking portion of my ride, I wasn't experiencing any fogging of the clear visor. After seeing how exertion caused the helmet to fog, I would caution any hardcore mountain bikers and winter riders (non ebike) to be aware of fogging issues once you heat up.But on an ebike, riding 15+ km/h, with regular output, this helmet shouldn't fog up.If anything changes on my opinion, I'll make sure to update, but for now, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Order 1 size larger
I wanted to get a new helmet for my electric kickboard scooter. Overall, it's a nice helmet for the price. Just one thing to note: Order one size larger. Normally a large would fit me but I ordered an XL just in case and even then, it was a bit snug. I know if I wear the helmet more often, it will soften the cushion and be more comfortable so I think ordering at least one size larger is best. If you prefer a more looser fit, then order two sizes larger. The removable headband is made from a plush long-hair fleece-like material which I think does a great job at absorbing sweat. Aesthetically, the helmet has a nice, fighter jet pilot style look and feel to it with both a sun visor and face shield.Something to note: I ordered the matte black version and noticed that the helmet doesn't have any ILM sticker on the forehead though another customer reviewed the white helmet and the photos they provided shows an ILM sticker on the helmet forehead... just something to be mindful of if you want/don't want the forehead sticker. There is an ILM sticker on the back of the helmet.

Don’t look any further, you won’t find a better fit!
Very nice helmet! For the money I couldn’t find better and jealous I didn’t get this one for myself. I got it for my 6 year old son and bought the small. The latch is also solid and easy for him to release it.Holds perfect on his head and very comfortable. Compared to other helmets I tried buying this one is a real hard & steady one.Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely recommend this!
