Troy Lee Designs WS 5205 Wrist Support Black, S/Left

Riding after having broken my wrist was a bit sketchy, and this brace was definitely helpful to get me back on the trails. Good value for the money for sure. Comfortable, adjustable, not too cumbersome or in the way, and can wear with gloves no problem. I saw a few reviews that this was particularly small, and size Large is as big as it comes, which made me a bit nervous, but I don’t see why people would say that. I’m 6’-1” and stout and use xl or even xxl for most everything, and I didn’t have any problems with sizing on this brace at all. I mean, it’s supposed to be tight and fit snug right? I think that’s the point. Overall a good purchase that helped me get back to shredding the local trails!

There are some really great YouTube reviews of this product but here's the short and sweet. After experiencing a pretty gnarly sprain on a downhill course I purchased this to prevent future injury. It definitely helps keep you from overpronating your wrist/hand. It also encourages good riding habits by keeping your hand/wrist straight rather than getting lazy with your form. Definitely worth the money!

I’m recovering after wrist fracture. And this wrist support is very good. I was able to get back to riding very fast.it’s comfortable and supportive and it can be worn on top of gloves

This is a great brace! Fits well, sturdy enough to keep your wrist firm and relieve shock. Flexible enough to get some flex to the bars. I also use this now to play baseball. Really helps. I shattered my wrist in full, three pins and two screws. Full reconstruction. Surgeon said it would be a year or so before I could grip the bars. Back in about 5 months using this brace. TLD makes great gear!

Really grate supports. These will not protect against compression impacts to the wrist but definitely protects against over rotation in the backwards direction of the wrist. I use boxer's wrist wraps to support my wrists against compressing impacts and these on top of that to protect against rotational impacts. I have had 4 large impacts to the wrists while wearing this combination and so far I have had no noticeable injuries or damage to my wrists.

Used it about a dozen times on my MTB looking for relief from wrist pains caused by handlebar jamming. Decent support to prevent backwards over-flex of the wrist. Nothing to help with pounding on the front of the wrist/palm. I wear a padded Giro bike glove under it, which helps a little. Still undecided if this is better than the $16 stiffened brace I bought at Wally world.
