Mokume Gane Spinner Ring. A handcrafted spinner/worry ring created out of sterling and copper mokume gane. The 2 spinner rings are half round sterling silver bands. Your ring will look very similar to the one in the picture but please keep in mind that all mokume patterns are all unique. Please remember that your ring is oxidized to make the copper darker. In order to keep that color longer please don't wear your ring when washing your hands, especially when using soap. There are products you can out on your ring to hold the patina longer but nothing's permanent. I recommend putting on a product called Jewelry Shield. It's very economical and easy to use. It can also be applied as needed. Mokume gane is a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. The translated meaning is burl metal. The name was borrowed from one type of pattern created in the forging of swords and other edged weapons.
