Making Out in Chinese: A Mandarin Chinese Phrase Book (Making Out Books)

It is a very interesting phrase book. I am happy with my purchase. 5 Stars would have been awarded but it is too expensive. A lower cost is more appropriate.

Useful and funny book of relatively current Mandarin phrases oriented to the world of dating.

I have the revised edition obtained in 2008. It is surprising it is still available 15 years later and at the same price. My experiences with Tuttle Books have always been positiive. Geographically language varies in time and location.

Great book, I plan on buying the Korean one as well...I hope they make one for Persian Farsi...

Revised edition is a big disappointment. This edition left out what people who buy this kind of book are looking for -- the party talk chapter.The Korean and Vietnamese revised versions still have the Party Talk chapter. If they are going to write this kind of book, they have to put out at least as much as the Korean and Vietnamese revised versions. While revising the Chinese version, they choked. They ought to make it up to people who regret buying the book by putting the Party Talk chapter in the digital version.

this is supposed to be revised but there are tone errors all over this book, I can't trust it one bit

In this day and age, having a book that caters to orientalist perverts looking to score is pathetic and sick. The sexualization of Asian women is a racist trope that has been going on for the last several hundred years in the West. Racist, capitalist patriarchy at its best.
