**Update Dec 2021: Still using this for diapers and it works well! We're completely on solids and the powder makes the diapers smell like nothing, that is until they are on his butt... but still, no poop or rancid pee smell. Also, they helped get red cake frosting out of red pants! Look at the before and after!** This stuff works great! Our baby is transitioning to solid food now and his diapers can get pretty yucky! But they are clean smelling and have very few stains after one regular wash with an extra rinse cycle added on. Only thing is that the tin came with a big dent in it and it isn't very pretty. And the tin lid is hard to get off, so I'm always worried about the contents flying out if the tin slips out of my hand or if the lid comes off unexpectedly. But the product itself is great! I love that it is a natural solution. We use Arm and Hammer laundry soap with it.

I tried Nellie’s based on recommendation by a friend with eczema. My family has many skin allergies and the other free and clear type of laundry detergents were irritating our skin which required double rinsing, ,were not cleaning clothes and leaving behind unpleasant sweaty odors. I purchased the regular version (ie non-baby) laundry detergent originally years ago, in an effort to try and use more natural household products and reduce exposure to chemicals. What I found was that the eczema that had plagued me for years, disappeared within a couple weeks and only reappeared when I stayed over at other people's homes or hotels. I realized my eczema had been caused by conventional laundry detergent so switched 100% to Nellie's. After a couple years, I saw the baby version on sale and decided to try it. I found that I like it even better than the regular Nellie's detergent because in my opinion, it keeps whites whiter. My only complaint with regular Nellies is that my whites started to grey with time and nothing helped fix that until I started using the baby detergent. I now almost exclusively use the baby detergent, despite the fact that I'm washing laundry for only myself, a young professional woman! The thing with both Nellie's detergents is that they leave everything smelling fresh, naturally fresh, just like line dried laundry (not perfumey fresh). I love this about the detergent. Buy it, you won't regret it and the tins are very cute.

Gotta use more than recommended. Detergent is a bit expensive as well. At times a bit abrasive. Might need a finer grained detergent powder. Works well when done. Most customers opt in for it, but high for laundry overhead as an option. Even in wholesale. Unscented on linens and such. Good for babies. Plant and septic safe. Still would recommend for someone who has 1 baby.
