Unpacking the bag revealed a smaller than expected unit, shiny material lending a less than classy appearance.Minor niggles really.The big problems are with the zips catching on the lining. The bag is inexpensive so we can make allowences however this fault has rendered the bag entirely unusable; the lining has torn, shredded by the repeated snagging. Now when bits and bobs are placed within they fall between inner and outer layers creating lots of excited moments when door keys, phone and purse are transported into mysterious alien dimensions.The bag now resides in the bin, it lasted five months of gentle use.I cannot in all honesty bring myself to recommend this item.

Bought as other reviews state its quite large. However, It's not large enough for what I want. It just about fits my small 13' laptop with one notebook. I'm an English lit and history student and wanted this for carrying all the stuff I need, but sadly it isn't big enough. It's really well made and looks great though. The straps don't stick when adjusted.

Lovely bag. Bought this as a 'work' bag to carry lunch and bits and pieces as I walk to work daily. Quality is excellent, and is true to description. I have attached the shoulder strap so I have the choice of how I wish to carry it. The only thing I noticed with this bag is a slight variation in colour. I ordered the coffee colour which pictures to have a darker brown contrast colour with the straps and trim (as of picture) however, yes I received the coffee colour bag, but the contrast colour was a lighter brown. Still looks great though.

Arrived on time. No smell. Love the colour, stitching look good, time will tell. Its roomy. Otherwise enjoy using back pack.

Good size and nice looking. The only down side is the straps which are not leather like the image. They make it look a bit cheap but, overall, it is good value

Well-designed bag, nice and soft. Could have done with some pen slots, though.
