what is the statue made of, i don't want plastic

This statue is not cheap plastic, it is not porcelain or chalk, it is what I believe they call resin, but a very nice material with a beautiful finish, looks expensive, very suitable for a gift. It has no softness, no chalkiness to it, the features are beautifully painted, and the finish is not shiny or lighweight like porcelain. This is a pretty heavy piece for its size. The face is especially expressive. I think you will be very pleased.

Could I easily drill holes in her head to attach a blonde wig?

Can you put this statue outside in your garden all year around

If I really had to, and couldn't find such an item made for the outdoors, I would want to find a heavy, clear, glaze and coat it well...then place the statue inside a little 3 sided decorative box to help protect it. You must note that this item IS NOT for the outdoors.

For what kind of religion is it for?

I bought this statue because I am catholic and pray to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I think that anyone that believes in Jesus can buy this statue.

Beautiful Statue of Jesus , quality is pretty good, it was painted nicely and came in a protective box with styrofoam (I was worried it would have a piece broken based on a few reviews) but no , highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice statue of our lord for there home
