Excellent
I'm a fan of these stylish heat sinks. They really dissipate heat well. And are very needed if you're dropping voltage with components like the 7805.Only downside is mounting to PCB.. If you plan to mount these to a PCB, then you'll need a small drill bit to make the hole slightly bigger for the mounting post to fit. I used a super tiny hex bit to bore the hole. Just make sure the hole isn't too big. If you can keep the solder ring intact, then that will be great to help secure it with solder.

Used to build a school project from scratch
We needed to build a school project from scratch and this heatsink fits a 2 amp 5 volt regulator and worked out great removing the heat. The project was multi port USB charger that worked from AC/DC or solar cell.

They seem to do their job
These heat sinks seem to do their job. I have missed them on a couple of devices that I have built, whenever I have a voltage regulator chip, it definitely calls for these. If you are planning on using one in your project just make sure you put some electrical tape on the proto board under it to electrically isolate it from the other lines. It's conductive and can short out your circuit if you're not isolating it electrically. Particularly an issue when using proto boards.

Easycargo 10 pack of TO-220 heat sink and mounting kit is very handy to have
The Easycargo 10 pack of TO-220 heat sink and mounting kit is very handy to have for home projects, with everything one needs together in one place. I purchased this kit to build a 50 mA LED driver current source to fix a lamp that died. I used a TIP41 Darlington transistor as the active element, and while power dissipation would be low, I did not want it to run too hot and fail prematurely. All I needed was a small heat sink to spread and dissipate the heat, a TO-220 insulator/thermal interface, TO-220 mount shoulder washer, a TO-220 mounting screw, and the matching nut. This kit filled my need very well, with everything I needed in one place, without having to search for and purchase each part individually. I especially like that the heat sink is tapped for the mounting screw, eliminating the need to fumble while I try to thread the nut. The drawbacks are that the thermal data (thermal impedance of the insulator, and thermal impedance of the heat sink to air) are not given, and the insulating pad is not reinforced. In addition, the shoulder washer insulation bushing appears to be made of nylon, which can cold flow, reducing if not eliminating contact pressure of the transistor to the heat sink. I prefer to use bushings made of fiber, which will not cold flow. However, none of these factors was important or critical for my application, I merely point them out for others to consider, and I give the kit four stars rather than five stars for these factors. As a benefit of this purchase, I have nine more heat sinks and mounting kits available for use when I need them. This was a very worthwhile purchase for me. I was able to build the current source, and fix the lamp, the wife is happy her lamp works.

Works well, and compatible foot print is in KiCAD.
Good quality, works well in a DC power supply and Audio power amplifier using TO-220 package devices. I used the KiCAD Heatsink_Fischer SK104-TSC-STIC foot print, but I had to modify the court yard to eliminate court yard conflict errors between the T0-220 package part and the heat sink (copied the foot print into personal component library, and modified the courtyard).

Perfect size
Perfect size for TO-220 and nice price. It would be nice to know the thermal resistance to make sure cooling is adequate for critical projects, but these are great for lightly to moderately loaded regulators. I will get more of these.

Parts not sized correctly
On the surface this seems like a great deal - 12 TO-220 heatsinks with the mounting screws and insulators.Unfortunately it looks like it is made from random parts.1 - the silicon pads' hole is not in the correct place, too much of the pad hangs over the top2 - the insulating insert is too long. Too much of the inner ring projects beyond the TO-220 heatsink tab making it impossible to tighten the device tight to the heatsink. I had to file down the insulating insert to fit the LM317 device.3 - The heatsink screw is screwed into the heatsink itself - so the screw is not isolated from the heatsink like it is with most heatsinks. All in all not the best heatsinks
