Whirlpool W10822259 Motor-Cond, SILIVER

This is an exact replacement of the condenser motor, however install is not for the lazy. First, on my whirlpool side by side, the motor is positioned sideways which is very hard to remove and replace the attaching screws. There is an easy to break brass pipe in the way and very little room for your tool, let alone your hand. You need three hands to be exact, one to hold the motor in to place, one to hold the socket against the screws and one to turn the socket 1 inch at a time. Oh, the motor also needs to be installed with self tapping screws, which is a huge pain to get them to start tapping in such a tight area. On the positive side, it’s works great and is very quiet!

Exactly like old motor, quick to install. Arrived quickly.

The old one lasted for 22 years. This OEM replacement was made in China. Time will tell.

Exact replacement for 2001 roper refrigerator RT 21LMXKQ00 condenser fan. Made in China not USA as original was. Used self tapping screws, provided to carefully thread the three unthreaded holes, and then mounted using the longer provided regular screws. Check the fan blade for interference and adjust before starting refrigerator. The blade is easily, distorted, removing and reinstalling. No excess noise from motor.

When received package from Amazon the box inside with the motor had already been opened. There were no instructions, wiring harness and correct screws. The screws sent were too short. Didn't need anyway.Motor seems to work OK so far. Probably been sent out before and returned. Maybe why cheaper??
