It fit just fine in my filter queen 80th anniversary that I have had for a while now (I love my filter queens). Yes plural! I bought a used majestic off of a women semi locally. But from her using it, it smells like her perfume and I can’t change that smell. However, my newer filter queen smells like nothing. I got this felt pad. It has Velcro on the top so it attaches under your twist cap under the hand on the canister. I also got the citrus spray, genuine! The smell didn’t last more than a couple seconds no matter how much I used. So it fits. But didn’t work. My reason for the 4 stars. And I don’t think it’s the material that caused it to not work properly.So essentially, the concept is not effective. But the part is just fine

I have had my filter queen for 25 years and I never knew that I could replace it. The salesman that came to my house told me to put the scented oil on a piece of cotton and lay it around where the air comes out, which is what I have always done. Is this just another air filter or is it ok to put scent on it? Mine came with no directions which is why 4 stars. As just an air filter I guess it’s ok.
