Works well in the garden
I used these to make a trellis for raspberry plants. They've held up well over one winter and were very easy to put together and adjust.

Despite a couple of negative reviews, I found these turnbuckles good for my purposes. The threads seem to be well cut, and the price is a bargain.Regarding maximum load, I tested them to 200 lbs.

Stainless Turnbuckles for Securing Outdoor Objects
These turnbuckles are well made and will do the job with little fuss. They ae small enough to tighten tent stakes such that the tent is more resistant to wind. The value is very substantial with each unit costing about $1.70. Very reasonable.
