Atticus

Ron Hansen is a poet! Love his writing --some of the sentences I just had to reread "out loud" in my mind because they were so beautiful and even onomatopoetic. This is my favorite of his novels--an interesting take on the Prodigal Son with a great ending

Atticus was a good read, I could not have guessed the ending.

I found this to be a wonderful story. It was quite different from most books I read. I am glad to have this as part of mypermanent library stash! I've been inspired to read another novel by this author. I enjoy discovering authors I'm notfamiliar with.

I read this because of a recommendation by a person in my book ckub. I found the idea of the story interesting, but I think the author did not do a good job in connecting all the parts and characters. Nevertheless I finished the book. But I knew the outcome before the end. Predictable.
