Stay with this OEM product
After my original piece broke after 30+ years I thought I could save a few dollars by buying an after-market replacement. Wrong! It looked funny, never fit right, and broke after about 20 uses. Then I bought an OEM replacement and I was back to perfection. I’m expecting it to last at least another 30 years.

Actual Cuisinart Part, perfect replacement

Doesn’t fit.
It was advertised to fit the Cuisinart DL-7 SUPER PRO. IT DOES NOT. It would not lock into the bowl so it would pop out and stop the machine. RETURNED

Newer model of Cuisinart Food Processor has better design then this part
I went ahead and bought a new Cuisinart Food Processor and the design of the new model is a lot better I have had to replace this piece twice because the plastic that it is made out of is not durable.
