Fit, worked, easy install.

My oven was definitely baking at a much higher temp and threw an error code, so when I googled it gave me a few options to resolve, one of which was to turn off the breaker to reset. That did not work so I ordered this $12 part in hopes that it was just the sensor. We watched a you tube video on how to install and in a matter of minutes my oven is working properly again. The oven is nearly 10 yrs old so we didn’t want to invest too much, and this was the perfect solution. Not sure how long it will last but if it buys us another year I’ll be happy.

Fixed the oven. Easy installation.

I have a Whirlpool WFE515S0ES0 range, the Whirlpool parts list calls out p/n W10181986 as the correct oven temp sensor, however this one does not fit. The tip of the sensor is too big to fit in the oven. I modified it to fit, and it seems to work. However I most likely would have no warranty if I had to return it.
