Following a second degree burn to a finger removing a 400 degree iron skillet from the oven, I relized my old cotton mits needed replacement! Ordered these and I love them. Absolutely no heat transfer to my hands. And the longer length protects my wrists and arms as well! Love them!!!

I love these oven mitts! They're extra long so that means no more burnt arms. They are heat resistant as promised. If they are wet, you can feel the heat through the gloves, but that is true for all oven gloves.

The trustees who work in the kitchen at the jail had terrible oven gloves that at the jail before I got them these. They have to lift very heavy hot pans and pots everyday to feed the jail 3 times a day.Once I got them these, no more burns, their hands are protected and they keep perfect care of them. They tell me all the time how grateful they are. I bought 3 sets for them. These are excellent.

I bought these when my arm was in a cast and they fit over the cast! Niw, they're the best pot holders that I ever owned. They grip well and my arms don't get burned.

TO earn another 0.3 stars from me would entail adding a bit more length to insure protectionSince they are new, can't report on how long they will last but seem to be similar construction to those that finally wore holes in them and certainly as pliable, unlike the other old one now trashed.FAST shipping was important in this case

I was feeling the heat through my old oven mitts. These are wonderful! I have one hanging by my oven, and the other by my toaster oven. They work really well. I was afraid the material would make them hard to handle, but they move with me as I lift pans or pull out the toaster or oven rack. They add a pop of color to my kitchen, too. Highly recommended!

I was tired of buying cheap oven mitts that would bring your hand on one side. Or eventually not work at all. Wanted something that would last , that I could grab a cookie tray from the oven and not worry about possibly burning my hand and dropping the food. These are long and easy to grip items and remove from the stove. Easy to clean also.
