BOTH CHALLENGING AND FUN
Played this once with my granddaughter (age 9). She loved it! Because you can choose your level, we had a fairly equal playing field and both enjoyed it. It's both challenging and fun.

Great for a kid that enjoys math, or teaching someone to enjoy it.
I bought this for my seven year old grandson. The game is really well thought out. 1. There are cards with numbers around the outside of a card, with number in the middle that you have to match, by doing add or subtractions. (Multiply and dividing can also be used.) 2. The game is played on different levels, so that a child can play the game with an adult. 3. If the child is a level one player, than there are two outside numbers that can be subtracted to get the inside number. If the adult is playing at level 3 or 4 or higher then he/she must use 3 or 4 equations or higher to get the inside number. 4. Once the player thinks he/she has the answer, they say "Adsumudi" and if they are right they take the card. 5. Once a player has 5 cards the game is over. I made two changes to the game. Instead of saying "Adsumudi", we say "eureka", and if your equations is wrong, you lose a card. My grandson generally beats me, but he is a wiz. and we both play at level 3.

My students love it!
I teach high school aged kids who are studying for their high school equivalency. Some are lower level with math and this actually keeps their interest!

Easy to use and easy to differentiate for any age!
I'm a TAG (talented and gifted) teacher, and I teach all levels of school children. I love that each card has a star rating for difficulty. This allows me to arrange them for the student I'm working with. I have played this with my kindergarten students and my middle school students - it works for all ages. It can be differentiated for many ages and levels of ability. Every time you play, it will be a little different! For my kindergarteners, I put all of the one star cards together and have them do 2-step equations (like 2 + 3 = 5). I've had them take turns, but they could also write their ideas on a white board and then share. For my middle school students, I put them in a stack, and they have to do at least 3-step equations (like 13 - 10 + 2 = 5). There are even more numbers, so we can make it harder than that. They then compete with time - who can get the equation first. Of course, you could take turns. The cards are double-sided and sturdy. The design is appealing to all ages. The numbers are easy to read and understand. I bought a set for my middle school math teacher friend. I do recommend this game!

Great Game
Our family loves this game. I love that all levels can play simultaneously. Your math wiz and early learner can play together! I also appreciate that we are having fun with math, which is a bonus in my opinion. Box is well made and compact would travel well if you wanted to bring it along for fun on the go!

Picked This Up For My Nephew ... He Loves It
Picked this game up for my nephew, he really loves it and his mom says this was a great value for the money. The game pace is great and has a decent overall size to everything in it. It is fun to play and hits just the right age range as stated on the box!
