2026 calendar
Beautiful calendar! This past October I visited the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam so only fitting to get this calendar. I wish the names of the paintings were written on the calendar… but they are not so hubby and I took turns looking it up and writing underneath.

Good paper and print quality, but ....
Bought this 2024 wall calendar as a gift. It was delivered to the recipient yesterday, and I got to see it today. It is a selection of Van Gogh images (12, of course). They are nicely printed, and paper quality seems good, sturdy. However, the recipient and I are both a little disappointed that there is no printed commentary that accompanies each of images, giving name of the painting, where painted, and the like. I'm accustomed to buying Hubble and Webb telescope calendars of this size (12"X24", open), which do contain commentary on each image, a very nice, informative feature. Admittedly, I didn't check the Amazon product description for the Van Gogh carefully enough, so I feel this is partly my fault -- but whoever manufactures this should perhaps give this some thought for 2025.

JUst got it, it's beautiful and sturdy, with a simple elegance
At risk of waxing excessively elegant over a mere calendar, I must say this calendar really is quite beautiful. It's nice to have a calendar without some manner of logo or advertisement emblazoned on it; it's just van Gogh reproductions and a calendar. I guess the reproductions could be brighter, but no big deal. The paper is a sturdy, semi-glossy paper that has a qualify finish. There is attention to detail in the calendar, with subtle embedded lines and colors. The specs are actually 11.5" X 23.5", so not quite the advertised specs, but whose measuring? I was surprised to receive this in a flat box that managed to keep the calendar in perfect condition. For $10 US, this is a really nice calendar. It's a very nice accent on our kitchen door.
