Cute print, comfy, still worth it
I’ve been using these since 2018 with my first baby. My third baby had absolutely no issues transitioning out of the swaddle into these. They are pricier than before but what isn’t, and I’ll be willing to invest in a few sleep solutions that allow me the most rest possible in this period. I would say material is a bit thinner and oddly the seams are much thicker than they were back when I first started buying them. Overall still a good quality and a great solution to transition out of the swaddle safely. Wish they had a two way zipper so you could do diaper changes with less disturbance like many sleep n play onesies.

Baby sleeps well and still has range of motion
Baby doesn't like arms being pinned down so these sleep sacks work amazing as a transition swaddle. Baby can move arms and legs pretty freely but doesn't wake themselves up flailing their arms either. The x-small size fit well for 2-4 months (~10-15 pounds) and the small should work for 3-6 months. Since it's a zipper it does bunch up with the excess fabric, and the zipper guard sometimes slips but hasn't bothered baby. We've washed and dried many times and it holds up well.

Order the belt too
So far so good. I ordered this after another mom suggested it. My girl is only 1 month but rolls so swaddling wasn’t an option, but she constantly startled herself awake when on her back. This sleep sack helps keep her arms under control without restricting her movement. It is big so lots of room to go. My girl is 10lbs and 22in for reference. The belt is definitely needed in order for this to be usable with smaller babies so go ahead and order that too. Without it the fabric bunches in the front and allows too much arm movement. I didn’t order it initially so I improvised and cut the top from a velcro swaddle to use.Overall it’s a great product. However, it is overpriced. Should I need another I will likely see it myself as it it’s a relatively simple design.

Best transition swaddle that I tried!!
I started trying to transition my little one out of the swaddle about a month ago. I originally tried just swaddling one arm in and one arm out but she would wake herself up rubbing her eyes. I tried two different transition swaddles before this one and the same thing happened with those where she would wake up rubbing her eyes. I was starting to get stressed because she is trying to roll over even while swaddled so I knew I needed a solution quick. I really had my doubts that this would be it but it has turned out to be an amazing solution! She sleeps so well in it and doesn’t rub her eyes with this on. I feel so much relief knowing that she will be safe in this if she does roll herself over. It’s also a bonus that it’s super easy to take on and off which makes night feeds way easier. So far I’m really happy with this swaddle and just ordered another one!

Works Well For Baby, But Only In Combination with the Baby Merlin Magic Sleep Suit
I ordered the Zipadee-Zip for my 4.5-month old daughter and have been using it for about a week. It is adorable (we got the blue and orange elephants) and she loves to suck on her hands while wearing it. It washes easily and has not started to pill or pull apart at the seams. There is a catch, however. For my baby, it does not work alone. It is not nearly sturdy enough to calm her reflexes on its own.I had previously tried the Baby Merlin suit and it did not work alone either. After trying this product on its own with no success (she flailed her arms and woke herself in 30 minutes flat), I was desperate for any solution. I put her in a onesie, layered the Zipadee-Zip over the onesie, and placed the Baby Merlin on top. This was the magic combination for us. We made our first attempt at this at night, which is when most sleep experts seem to recommend making changes for the first time. You may be thinking, "Why didn't she just use footie pajamas? Wouldn't that achieve the same results if layered beneath the Merlin? It would be a cheaper alternative." Absolutely not. My baby is obsessed with her hands and any access to her bare fingers equals zero sleep for any of us. This suit was a game changer because she is now covered from neck to toe. Though many reviewers state that the Zipadee-Zip is just a pair of over-priced pajamas, I found that small difference to be extremely important. Our baby has been sleeping from around 8:00 PM until about 5:00 AM, when she wakes for a 30-minute feeding, then goes back down until approximately 8:30 AM.I will note that my daughter is not yet able to roll from back to front. I wouldn't recommend this layering technique if your baby is able to roll both ways. However, it has been an amazing solution for our family as we had reached a point where she was breaking out of the swaddle every few hours and no one was sleeping. I am hopeful that this will allow us to either layer the lighter Nested Bean Zen Sleep Sack over the Zipadee-Zip when she is able to roll over. I do not use this technique during most naps as I have read pediatrician criticism of the Merlin causing flattening of the back of the head, so I am trying to improve our odds there. One other thing: I was afraid to order this because so many mothers wrote that their babies were at risk of suffocating because the fabric came up over their noses. My baby's head was in the 71st percentile at our last doctor's appointment (at exactly 4 months) and this has in no way been an issue for us. There is no way the neck could come up over her large head. I guess it really depends on your baby's specific proportions. If your baby's head is on the larger end, you should be fine.

Cute "starfish" sleep sack.
We LOVE these sleep sacks. They're lightweight enough that you can layer as needed for either warm or cool nights, and I LOVE that my daughter can still move around as much as she wants but her hands are safely tucked away inside so she can't scratch her face. I think it gives her just enough "cuddle," without being too restricting. The designs are also adorable. I don't LOVE that it's polyester materials and wish they made plain cotton ones, but we won't switch to another style away from these.

Amazing sleeping tool to help your child sleep through the night
First time mom and had to transition my baby out of his swaddle. Heard from blogs that this was a good product. My baby was wearing nested bean weighted swaddle- so I paired this with the nested bean sleep sack. My baby can self soothe and sleep through the night at 12 weeks so I’m pretty happy with this product !

Lightweight material sent to us in winter, heavier in winter.
The product works great as a transition from swaddle to more free movement. The seller, however, does not specify that there are different materials depending on season. They only note the difference in sizes and patterns. During the winter, I had ordered the xtra small and small sizes and they were a lightweight cotton. I could work with that ad I just layered more underneath. But now that it's summer and we sized up to medium, they sent me a heavier material. We can't possibly use it. right now. I only found out that they makw different materials after I had washed and used it a few times, so this purchase was a waste of my money.
