# My ReviewThis review is for the Cerez Pazari Dried Thyme Whole Leaves 6.35 oz. As someone who’s an avid food fan that loves to experiment and add exotic flavors to everything, this recommendation was a pleasant find. I like trying different herbs, spices, blends, condiments, natural and / or organic food products, so I was curious by the flavor profiles I experience by using this brand’s thyme product compared to the others I get from the spice aisle at the grocery store. That said, when I saw this offering and the way in which it was packaged, produced, and delivered, I just knew it was worth a try.First of all, the powdered thyme is packaged in a regular sized 6.35 oz plastic container – similar to those spice options found at the grocery store. The clear see-through container gives you the opportunity to see the contents up-close. The lid has 2 flip top sides with open holes that allows you to season by either shaking, pouring or sprinkling over the food you’re preparing. The Cerez Pazari branding is clearly visible, with the description, labeling and nutritional contents all well-defined. The container isn’t vacuum sealed and is only ¾ full; however, upon opening there was a nice warm aroma of spice that packed a subtle punch, that was a sign of good quality and freshness.Aside from the obvious use of thyme in foods, there’s also benefits such as helping with lowering blood pressure, fighting various infections, improving skin problems, etc. As a food spice, I’ve tried this thyme in a number of different ways which delivered a nice earthy flavor profile! I’ve used this in many Mediterranean, European, American, African, and Middle-Eastern dishes and each time the level of thyme was noticeable.Here’s some ways that I used these on veg, meat, fish, and salad dishes: curries, soups, broths, chili, rubs, roasts, grilled, marinades, dips, stews, yogurt, sauces, drinks, etc.Overall, this is a decent thyme seasoning. I like the taste / flavor profile you can get out of this which is versatile enough to use in many different ways. There were so many sticks and foreign objects in this. It's completely unusable. I tried to get a refund, but it wasn't eligible. This is a complete scam. Do not waste your money.

Love it nice big pieces of garlic slices.

I was hesitant; these leaves are larger than any I have used before. After some easy hand crushing, they are the right size.The flavor is impressive. It has depth and potency. Thank you all at Cerez Pazari.

Very good quality.

This is an OK dried thyme. The bottle has both a plastic seal on the outside of the cap, plus a foil seal under the cap, both of which are good to have not only for keeping the contents secure, but also for maintaining freshness. It is a product of Turkey.The aroma in the bottle is nice, but not as pungent and fresh as other dried thyme I've used. The thyme has a range of sizes and there appears to be a fair amount of stems in addition to leaves. It's more along the lines of bargain spice quality. However, the price per ounce is not at all a bargain, and exceeds the cost of better quality thyme.It's not bad, but it's also not outstanding. I'd rate it a higher if the price per ounce was more competitive with other bargain thyme, but as it stands it's a three star (average) product.
