Okay, you need a 12v cigarette style connection that we have in our vehicle or power bank. This blanket is super warm and needs about 50 watts of power per hour compared to a mains one at 100w ish. Bought this for camping but liked it so much that I use it at home. It’s saving me a fortune in heating bills and wouldn’t be without it now.

Let me say first that if you are looking for an electric blanket that is powerful as a 240v blanket… then buy a 240v one!This 12v one warms quickly and is effective at removing the chill. The cord is 8 feet long and would therefore reach into the back seat of a vehicle.The fleece is soft and cosy and the wiring looks sturdy.

A lot warmer than I expected for a 12 V blanket. Brilliant for the price.

I know it's only running off 12V, but this product produces almost no notable heating effect. Better off just buying a decent blanket.

Het deken warmt zeker niet snel of hard op, maar is meer dan voldoende om mee te slapen. Een deken bovenop houdt de warmte goed vast, en bij buitentemperaturen van rond de 5°C moesten wij het deken na enkele uren uit trekken omdat we het te warm kregen. Nadeel: de verpakking geeft niet veel informatie, ook niet over het verbruik. Wij gebruiken een extra batterij, maar ik weet niet hoe lang de gewone autobatterij het zou trekken.

Dieses Produkt ist ein absoluter Witz. Die dünnen Drähte sind ca. 5! cm weit auseinander (viel zu weit auseinander und viel zu wenig Drähte) und werden bei 12V überhaupt nicht wärmer als eine Hand. Ich habe dann den Strom und die anliegende Spannung gemessen (bin Dipl.-Ing. ET): U=12,2 V, I=3,3A. Hieraus ergibt sich eine ohmsche Heizleistung von nur P = 40 Watt (im Web las ich bzgl. dieser Decke irgendetwas von 48 W, was bei 12,6V wohl auch erreicht wird). ABER: Auf die große Fläche bezogen reicht das alles nicht aus, um eine mit der blosen Hand spürbare Wärmeentwicklung zu vernehmen. Ich schicke das Produkt umgehend zurück. Ein Mensch strahlt übrigens schon in Ruhe selbst 120W ab...Anmerkung: 230V-Decken haben eine Leistung von ca. 120 W, da wird klar, dass man mit 40-48W 12V-Decken nichts bewirken kann.Des Weiteren ist die Decke selbst super dünn (schätze ca. 3 mm).Nicht kaufen.

It worked well several times, when traveling! The back seats in my vehicle aren’t heated. Folks that sit back there can use this, & be more comfortable on a journey. It was also great a few times, when we camped in our little trailer,over the Winter! I do recommend this Stalwart 12v electric blanket!

Perfect for long rides in the car. Our floor heat doesn’t work, hot air only moves through dashboard and defroster vents - This blanket solves the problem. Bonus: the orange and brown plaid is perfect for this old Browns fan!
