It fits exactly how I hoped it would. It's snug, doesn't bounce or move around. Its exactly what I wanted. The weights are a pain to get into the pouches but once they're in, you're good. It's a tight fit so they won't come out. The phone pocket is small so don't expect your iPhone plus or any phone with a thick case to fit in there. I have a thin android with a thin cover and it still sticks out and is a squeeze to get in there. I got it on sale so the value was even better. The shoulders are comfortable and I wear it all day doing regular day to day tasks and to work.

This weighted vest has been an excellent addition to my workouts. So mine arrived with zero problems and zero condition issues. There were some things that attracted me to this vest...it's short. I'm short, so I think that's a good match. I didn't want to have this grazing my knees among other things, because my primary use for this is on my stair case, skipping steps on the way up for high step ups, my version of a stair stepper if you will. The Velcro is very sturdy, and very, very loud. So sometimes I prefer not to mess with the straps because I don't want to wake up my son. When I do use the straps however, I have noticed that there's a pretty goodly gap between my chest and the product. So if I were to be using this to supplement bodyweight exercises like hip hinges (which kind of looks like a good morning with a barbell), I'd have to hold this to my chest to support it and keep it from flapping around. It is a little bit hard to say if this would be a problem for you. I'm a woman, but a large framed woman who is a the very bottom of the healthy weight range for my height. Who happened to somehow with all my hormone problems inherit the buxom gene. So that means, I've definitely got some stuff in the chest area that I would have expected this would be snug on, but even with the straps cinched to their tightest, it's loose with a gap when I lean. I think definitely if you are a smaller framed woman, or a woman with a smaller bust, this is going to be too loose for you for some activities. I'm not sure what to say to the dudes that would be helpful, just depending on your chest measurements, you may have the same issue. So for me personally, I like that this has weight evenly distributed between the front and the back. I certainly could have loaded up a back pack for cheaper, but then I'd have stuff digging into my back as the items shifted with my movement, which I'm not a fan of, and for me personally, as I mentioned, I prefer the nice, even distribution of weight because it pulls less on my shoulders. However, I have to say, if I were interested in using this to supplement pushups, uh-uh. I personally wouldn't use this for that. There's no way I could get a full range of motion with it given the bust plus the vest, so if you are a woman, that's another thing to consider. Even if you are a man, this does stick out a bit in front, and it may limit your range of motion, and a limited range of motion doesn't provide as much benefit as a full range of motion. My bottom line on this product is that it seems to be solidly made, it does work for what I wanted it for, but I do think the looseness and the amount it sticks out in the front are limiting factors to the usefulness of this product for certain exercises.

This is a very good weight vest. It is durable and easy to get on. It does take a little while to get the sandbags in, but then they stay in place while using the vest.

the box suffered during shipping but there was no damage. bought for casual strength train purposes [obviously], in winter time when i don't mind the extra layer. as a passive device you can wear around the house, it's a good idea. fit's comfortable, arranging the weight distribution is easy which is very important. i ordered the 80# option, OMG at full load it's a sweat, don't hurt yerself!

I bought the 80-pound vest 2.5 years ago. I used it nearly every day for squats until my cat decided it would make a good litter box. I figure I got my money's worth out of it, and it was time for a better one anyway, so I ordered the 100-pound. I didn't order the 100-pound because I need that much weight. I got it because I wanted the steel weights instead of the sandbags that come with the 80-pound and lower weight vests. The 80-pound served me well. There was a tear in the shoulder strap similar to what another reviewer posted. I was okay with that because it was not going to come apart completely. Like I said, I used it nearly every day. My main complaint about the 80- was that the sand bags were so difficult to get in and out of the pockets that I never bothered to change the weight and just kept it about 65 pounds. You can see in the pictures how much bigger the sand bags are. The 80- vest is much larger than the 100+. The steel weights are very easy to get in and out of the pockets. The sand bags are all 3 pounds. The steel ones are 3 and 1.5 pounds. The 80- comes is one piece and has padded shoulders. It isn't adjustable and hangs at my waist and I'm 6'4". The 100+ comes in two pieces (pictured) and does not have pads in the shoulders. The 100+ is adjustable. I tried wearing it at the shortest setting but I couldn't reach the straps that go around you to secure it. I let it out maybe 3 inches front and back and now it sits a couple inches above my waist. The 100+ is a much snugger fit which is great. The 80- was too loose to do push-ups with but I can use the 100+ for that no problem. I definitely prefer my new 100-pound vest over the older one. Obviously the price jumps up quite a bit when you go from 80 to 100 pounds. When I bought the 80 I think the 100 was about double the price of the 80 but right now the 100 is only $150. I think that's a pretty good deal for a versatile, durable piece of equipment that I'll use every day. Even if you need less than 80 pounds the 100 pound vest better if you can handle the price. The main drawback for the 80- is how tight the weights fit in the pockets and the size. If you're a smaller person the 80-pound is going to be very large on you. I don't know if the lighter ones are just as big or not. They could be smaller and have fewer pockets. I suspect the 120 is exactly like the 100 because there are enough pockets to hold 46 three-pound weights. That would make the vest 138 pounds plus the weight of the vest which is probably about 5 pounds empty. So to truly be 150 pounds the vest would need 4 more pockets. Mine came with 103.5 pounds of weights-23 3-pound and 23 1.5-pound and there are 46 pockets but they will all take the 3-pound weights. I'd give the 80-pound 4 stars because of the tight pockets. The 100-pound costs more but the advantages are worth it. Now if I can just keep it out of the reach of my cat....

Fits good not hard to put on straps aren't the best but you really don't have to use them size options are great I'm using 80lb you might have some trouble with your ccw . my g19 was okay but if it's bigger probably won't work all around good purchase

Good quality weighted vest. It is definitely bulky, but that feels necessary given how much weight it’s capable of holding and supporting. Once adjusted properly, it feels secure during movement and doesn’t shift too much, even during more dynamic exercises. The weight distribution feels stable and usable for both cardio and strength-focused training. The build quality feels solid enough to handle repeated use, especially considering the adjustable weight range.
