Go-to naptime book that has fun illustrations and has been read many times over
My niece absolutely loves this book. It has been a go-to naptime book for a very long time! She loves looking at all the vibrant pictures since there’s so much activity on each page. She goes through the entire book with her grandma, repeating everything that grandma says in Mandarin. She even sleeps with it.The content covered is great since there are different topics for her to learn about things that aren’t part of daily life as well, like the safari, sea, and space pages.PROS-Available in either Traditional or Simplified Chinese (we prefer Traditional which is hard to find in bilingual books!)-Bilingual with pinyin (our entire family can read this - some of us read the Chinese characters, some of us the pinyin, some of us only the English)-Really detailed illustrations that kids love to look at - there’s a lot to talk about on each page-Audio readings are available on the Mina Learns Chinese websiteCONSNone yet.Highly recommend, I would get this book again and I have already gifted it to others.

Not for us.Not worth the money, not much content, bought by mistake
I was so excited to see there are some bilingual books available. So I got few. However, I didn’t notice that this book is for age 3 or older. And there are only 20 something pages. AND it comes ONE sentence each! I didn’t feel it’s pricey until I got to see the book! The illustration is literally like a color print. And it’s NOT a story book. Not much content. You can see the difference when you have a better book. If this booklet is under $8, maybe I would keep it. Otherwise, I would rather make it on my own and color print the daily sentences.

having fun and learning vocabulary chinese
I’m a early childhood teacher and is teaching Chinese to little ones. It’s been a challenge looking for books and resources in chinese. Most of the time, I have to translate English books to chinese.I’m so glad to find several bilingual books in kindle :) this book is not just fun because of the “eye spy” activity, it’s a great way to expose non-speaking children to Chinese language.

Great book for the parent and little one!
This book was everything I expected and more. As a Chinese-born Canadian who cannot read many Chinese words, I am worried I won't be able to pass on my knowledge of Cantonese to my baby and wanted to find some bilingual books that would make it easy for me to figure out the words. This book did just that and was absolutely worth the price. The book is of great quality physically and there were tons of words and photos I could explore with my baby. I definitely recommend getting this if you want to read to your little one!

My toddler enjoys it!
My almost 2 year old has a lot of books and he always gravitates to this book. The visuals are great and very cute. I like the variety of themes too.

worst chinese book in history because it’s not actual chinese
are you kidding me with this whack Chinese? no one who speaks Chinese natively in ANY country would condone this absolute abomination of a book. As a native Chinese that lives in the US i understand what happened here… the author decided this was a lucrative route to pursue and wanted to streamline her operations by writing the english version then hiring a chinese person in Taiwan or something to do the translation and illustration… but the clear and so obvious issue is that the Chinese translator is translating my the written English with zero cultural context and is translating word for word. both grammar and sentence structure as well as proper use of words become super awkward and weird. absolutely do not buy this for anyone trying to learn Chinese… it’d be like learning English from someone who just came over from Eastern Europe trying to make it in LA as an a or or actress

Great multilingual book for busy toddler!!
This book is amazing. My busy bee toddler can spend so much time sitting and looking through this book. It has cute graphics and each page is loaded with things for kids to search for. I'm so so happy that this book exists! Also, so thankful it is in traditional chinese, zhuyin, english! Hits all the check boxes!
