Herbals Alphamoist Alpha Hydroxy Skin Renewal Oil Free Moisturiser, 80ml

I hardly leave feedback here unless it is either excellent or the worst. I would say this moisturizer is the first one i found almost grease free, say 95% grease free. The rest 5% quickly gets absorbed in the skin. After application, no greasiness or oily layer on skin. And practically the skin feels supple and the effect stays on for a couple of hours. Nice product, Definitely worth the money spent. Very strongly recommended. Definitely No.1 over other moisturizers in the market under Rs.1000 segment.

I keep looking for skin care products that will suit me and this is how I came to use Lotus moisturizer. In the past, I have used their other products as well & I have found them nice. I have a combination skin - oily around the nose & normal rest of the face. I found this moisturizer nice in many ways that it does not make skin more oily or sticky after use. It makes it supple.

Excellent product.A moisturizer really suitable for my oily and pimple prone skin..it is absorbed quickly and gives a non-greasy matte feeling. I am using it in the night after face wash and even in the morning my face remains non-greasy. Did not have any breakouts also.. it gives a natural glow to the skin..i love the pleasant smell also.

This is a good moisturizer. i ve Combination skin. I ve been using this product since past 8 months. it doesn't cause any redness or any side effects. It is suitable for both summer and winter season. Added to this, it is also parabens free so I absolutely love this moisturizer.

I have sensitive, combination skin. I have no acne problem. But every time I apply this, I used to get little bumps or acne on my skin. Nevertheless, I am using this for years now always wondering why an oil free moisturiser would give me acne. I think I have finally found the culprit in the INCI list. Negatives - > Triticum Vulgare (Wheat germ oil) Wheat germ oil sits highest on the comedogenic scale (5/5) & is known to clog pores. Also, it's the 4th ingredient in the list. So, obviously a lot of it is added to this moisturiser. > Fragrance Fragrance is the number 1 cause of so many major skin issues. Please don't use any product which has fragrance in it. > Lactic Acid It's an AHA. It's used to exfoliate dead skin cells. It will sensitise skin to UV. Not the brightest idea to use this in daytime > Stearic Acid 2/5 Comedogenic scale. Again I won't want anyone with oily sensitive skin to use a product with this acid in it. > Cetostearyl Alcohol 2/5 Comedogenic scale Positives- > Emollients/Humectants/Occlusives - Almond oil - Glyceryl Mono Hydroxy Stearate - Light Liquid Paraffin - Glycerin - Propylene glycol - Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) But most of these are so down the INCI list, the quantity will be very less. > No drying alcohol There's no Denat alcohol or any bad alcohol added to it. That's a thumbs up. > Parabens It's not paraben free. But other preservatives are known to do more harm than parabens. So, I'll take my chances with parabens. It's my request to the company to reformulate this product. Take wheat germ oil off. Add squalane oil instead maybe? Don't add any fragrance. Keep AHAs/BHAs off it. Add PHA if you are so keen. Please add more of glycerin & other emollients.
