Q: Is this phone unlocked?

I have an Avaya IP SYSTEM with 67 of these phones in use at a small resort, and I’m pretty familiar with the term “unlocked” as it applies to cell phones but I have not seen where it applies to this Avaya handset or any other INTERNET PROTOCOL phone with Avaya... so I would say that this phone is not locked, after checking my information... I have had these phones in use for 2+ years with NO FAILURES.... and I am employed by a company that uses Avaya IP phones exclusively and the Avaya handset on my desk has been there for 14 years... and my company has roughly 12,000 phones in use with very few failures... which is why when I was asked to set up this resort, I chose Avaya, and I chose the J139 because it is Wall mountable, and many of their models are not!!! Hope this helps! Lot of info for a simple unlock question, but I just believe in the product and you get what you pay for!
