We're using this as a 'door' for our master bath, and it works perfectly. It's thick enough to provide some light blocking and privacy without blocking all of the natural light from the window. The material is smooth and neatly woven, and it looks so nice. It appears more expensive than it was. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for the door between my bedroom and the hallway to block out the hall night lights while still letting the cats have access to my room. They’re perfect, stylish, and they block out the light well. I really like them.

These are well made and very attractive. The fabric quality is quite good and has a soft texture. The colour is consistent and looks very nice - a beautiful shade of blue. Out of the box, the fabric was folded and had a few light creases which disappeared shortly after the noren was hung. I am using these outdoors to provide shade for an entrance patio with large windows and exposure to strong sunlight - they have been doing a great job for about a month and show no signs of fading or fraying. I do ultimately expect they will fade due to UV but that should still be attractive.

Looked nice, good cotton woven fabric in a nice dark blue, but blocked airflow. I got this to cover the open doorway to our walk in closet and the light that bothers whomever is still in bed. It blocked the light well enough, although the flaps are permanently splayed open somewhat (it’s all one panel sewn together at the top with a seamed split most of the way down the middle). But the temperature difference between the bedroom and closet (which has its own vent) was surprisingly noticeable.

Happy and very satisfied with the all-cotton Noren with the perfect cotton weight, it wasn’t too thick and just the right length and thickness. In the past, we had noren that were of very thick or synthetic material that made the room too hot—used as a room separator for the kitchen doorway. The simple and clean design on the indigo colored fabric makes the decor calming and a perfect fit with the surrounding area. Living in a warmer climate, this noren provides room separation without making the interior space too stifling. Also, wanted to get all natural fiber for the interior space to reduce pollution due to synthetic microfibers.

I have had this hanging for years and it is still in great condition. I had one growing up and I purchased this for the peace and nostalgia. It looks great and is lightweight.

I originally ordered the green version to go with my landing decor, but it turned out to be a much darker shade than the olive it appears in the pictures. Having returned the green, I've now set up the blue (an attractive navy), which compliments a feature wall in the hallway. This noren has proved to be a brilliant buy. The bathroom door is directly opposite the master bedroom; occasionally the bathroom light gets left on and I have a cat who seems determined that the correct way to enter any room, is to shoulder barge the door wide open. Easy to install (fitting on a standard net curtain rod), this blocks a huge amount of light spilling from the doorway. On my door. With the rod fitted just a couple of centimetres from the top, the bottom ends around 30 centimetres above the floor. This allows air (and cats) to circulate. It's very easy to pass through the centre, which is well sewn, being solid for around a handspan, before reaching the split allowing people to walk through. I actually had something similar before I decorated and this is longer, better fitted and looks much better quality. It's amazing value for money. I can say from experience that some of the products listed as linen are horrible plasticky rubbish, this is actual cotton and looks really nice.
