This blanket is so adorable it hurts. I got this for my niece who is such a girly girl and what girly girl doesn't want a pink mermaid tail?I loved this one because of the details of the scales. The other ones I've seen are just solid in color and I wanted something "realistic". The tail is thick and plush, my niece is 8 and this comes up to her neck, so there is room for her as she grows. Plus I'm pretty sure my sister has been using it too! My niece slides her feet into the fins and walks around like a penguin when she has to get up for any reason.In addition, the little Mermaid stuffed animal she got was turqoise...not purple or red so there are a few colors. I was thrilled about the turquoise because pink and turqoise are my nieces favorite colors. Great purchase. Phenomenal price and excellent quality.

The mermaid blanket is great and my daughter loves it! It's very warm, soft, and seems sturdy. Not a fan of the included plush toy though. After 24 hours of very gentle use, the seams have already started to split.

I bought this as a gift for a 3 year old and she loved it. I bought the scale fabric one- looks just like a mermaid tail. The inside is a super soft fabric perfect for cuddling up. The tail is made so kids can put their feet all thebeay down into the fins. It's very generous in size, perfect for young kids with room to grow. The mermaid plush is an added exciting bonus. I will definitely be buying another one for my daughter. I would definitely recommend to others! It's super cute.

Got this for my niece's 4th birthday and it was a hit!! All the adults wanted one too. When I first received I thought it was huge but it's actually a great size to get comfy and also for her to grow into. For size comparison it looks like an adult could fit inside but it wouldn't be loose enough to get comfortable. The color and print is fantastic and worth the price especially with the doll included. I originally tried to save money and purchased a lower cost knit mermaid tail but that didn't turn out as nice as the pictures and therefore not worth the price - definitely recommended this Blankii Kids over all the others!

We bought this for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. I have to say the color of the blanket is just gorgeous and it's nice and warm too! However; her feet cannot get past the tiny portion of material to get her feet into the tail. She's average size for a 6 year old so I think that maybe this is something they need to correct on this product. She was a bit upset that she couldn't get her feet in there. Otherwise, the quality of the blanket is great!

Extremely happy with purchase. Gift for 5yo girl that loves Aerial and Little Mermaid, etc. Heard about Mermaid Tail blankets on a TV show featuring gift ideas. After looking at several different styles, very glad I chose this one. I love the scale looking pattern on outside, soft plush feeling inside, and the ability to put feet down into the fins (like a real Mermaid!). Be aware that this style is made more like a bag that the child slips into rather than like a blanket that is put around the body, another feature that I particularly like. I think this will be a well loved gift. Will update rating as appropriate.

Cute blanket, looks better in pics though. Only thing I was disappointed with was I thought all of the material was the mink fleece, but only the inside material is mink fleece. Outside material is kind of slick, thought it was fleece. I am fine with it, but maybe the description of the item should say the material inside is fleece and the material in the outside is something else. Looks like it will fit my 4 year old daughter great. Excited for her to open it and the doll on Christmas!
