A tongue in cheek gift for husband whilst he studied his power boat license.Informative book and he passed so must be ok!

Although geared to U.S. rules and regulations ( I live in Canada) it is still a very informative book for the newcomer to boating. It should NOT be used instead of the "Boatsmart" study guide for getting the Canadian "Pleasure Craft Operator Card" but it does supplement and add a LOT of other relevant and practical information.

We are buying a boat soon and I need to learn how to operate it. I appreciate the detailed steps for docking, understanding lights and channel markings and for other topics. I like this book.
