RooCoat Babywearing Coat - Charcoal with Gray Stripes - Medium

I liked using this in the fall and spring time (I live in Wisconsin). It's not the warmest but it was certainly big enough to fit warmer clothes underneath in addition to baby. It can be a little challenging to zip up on your own though.

I had to order it twice. My first one arrived with a broken zipper but the return and exchange were smooth sailing.Although this sweatshirt is for baby wearing only and cannot be converted it is really great! It is soft and warm and the colors are great! It can be worn front and back which is really cool and my husband can wear it too!!!It does fit big so make sure to order the right size for you. I would definitely recommend it.

Warm, useful and very easy to maneuver. This coat was invaluable on a recent trip to NYC, which is not terribly pram friendly. I wore our 4 month old in a baby carrier the whole week, and he stayed perfectly warm and comfortable in this coat.

I love this sweatshirt! I take my 2 month old on walks in it and it's plenty big for her to grow in to.

This Roocoat is a perfect add to my babywearing collection!I'd classify this more as a sweat shirt versus a "coat". The material is very thick, but more like a really think sweat shirt.The stitching is well done and the Roocoat feels very sturdy and well made! The zipper is heavy duty.It's a little more difficult to get it zipped on by myself when wearing baby on my back, however once it's on it's super comfy!

This is a high quality coat! It is sweatshirt material, but fully lined so it's pretty thick and warm. I tested outside in freezing temps and we were very comfortable. Prefect by itself for running errands or milder weather, plenty of room to add extra layers to myself and baby for extended outside wear in low temps. The design is really great, I love that the pull cord/ zipper design allows the wearer to put it on without assistance (I tried just pulling it over our heads by myself in a back carry and couldn't. The pull cord is key!). And of course the removable hood is a smart feature. This coat is VERY roomy. No need to go up a size to accommodate baby. I got a medium (my normal size) and can comfortably wear over my kindergardener. Color is just as pictured, I love the blue- very bright and pretty. Overall, a little baggy but I like that it leaves room for larger children, extra layers, or allows sharing with my spouse. Prefect Babywearing coat, you won't regret getting one! I can't believe I survived the last 5 Babywearing winters without one :)*edited to add another star. The item description clearly says to go a size down if you want a snug fit. My fault for not reading carefully. This coat is perfect!

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at how thick this sweatshirt type coat is. It was much heavier than I expected it to be, and much thicker. There is a nice thick inner lining which makes the coat very warm. I tried this on with both my newborn and toddler and there was plenty of room for both. I got the size that I normally wear in a unisex t-shirt, and I felt that that size was the perfect size to wear the coat from newborn up through the toddler years. It was very easy to put on, and the pull cord that accompanied the coat made zipping it up a breeze. The hood for the adult is removable, which allows you to turn the coat around for back wearing. The infant/toddler hood is not removable (I would have liked that to have been an option), but it is big enough for a big toddler's head. My toddler actually asked to face outwards in the carrier while forward facing, but I found that the non removable hood made this difficult. This coat is quite warm outside in the winter and kept us all very cozy. I highly recommend purchasing one!
