I have the kind of brain where if I don't methodically write everything down I immediately forget it; after years of struggling in school my discovery as to the way my brain works in memory retention led to stellar results during my college career. By implementing this strategy, as well as others, I was able to remain on the honor roll throughout my undergraduate career. With every upside comes a downside; my downside came in the form of searing wrist pain. At it's onset, I thought it was a temporary annoyance and the pain would dissipate over time. However, I soon realized as I began my graduate career that not only was it here to stay, it was intensifying in it's severity. There were times where I would have to briefly refrain from taking notes during lecture to apply pressure to the throbbing discomfort in my right wrist. I came on this site looking for some relief but was skeptical; I tried braces and ibuprofen, advil-you name it. I was unsure if there was anything out there that would alleviate the severity of my carpal tunnel. It was either give up the grades or grit my teeth through the unrelenting searing pain in my wrist. It's fair to say I was in a bit of bind. I actually chuckled when I opened the box and appraised the brace; it looked flimsy and unreliable and I was ready to be disappointed. However, as soon as I slipped this baby on, it felt like my wrist was being cradled into a blissful state of serenity. I know this sounds like a cheesy exaggeration, but that's exactly how it felt-like they were immediately being cared for and nursed back to health. I've had it on for the past few hours and am speechless as to how little agitation and throbbing I feel in my wrist. I can happily resume my studies without knowing that I am swiftly deteriorating an essential part of my body; that piece of mind alone should be enough of an incentive for anyone to buy this. I'm glad I did and would do the same over and over again.

I've used this wrist brace, when needed in the gym, for almost 10 years. I just bought my 4th one. It's easy to put on and can adjust to varying support while still allowing for wrist movement. I put it tighter after an injury of if there's pain or weakness in the wrist. And then, week by week, I decrease the tightness as my wrist heals. Of course, we're not talking Olympic power lifting here, but I do heavy presses and curls using this with no problem. For serious injury, you might need a full, over-the-hand brace, but this has always worked well for me.
