Why is it better than a cheap one you can buy for 5 dollars?

Anyone know how to clean grease that has worked its way into the rim over time? Was great for a year now it smokes from hidden grease inside the rim

Try soaking it in a soapy water for a while, running it though dishwasher (at the highest water temperature), applying extra effective detergent. My frying pan is 12,5 inch . I am not sure if I should get the 13 or 15 inch platter screen? Any advice would be appreciated

Either would work. If you think you might get a bigger pan someday go for the 15, but the 13 will work with your 12.5 pan. It doesn't matter if the screen is bigger than the pan.

Is this screen oven safe?

Kindly note that the BergKoch Splatter screen was designed to be used on a frying pan on a stove, not the oven. The product description and user manual specifically state that the product is NOT OVEN SAFE.

good quality splatter screen, a little bigger than I thought. Great price for the item alone but the shipping cost was more than 4 times the price of the item. Maybe it was shipped in a private jet or on a yacht

I waited a few months after purchase and use to give a rating. It is a well deserved 5 stars. It’s very sturdy and very well made. It keeps the spatter in the pan!!!!! It does its job flawlessly. After washing, it’s back to looking brand new. No retained stains. It’s a perfect buy!!
