Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum RGB Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Black

First impressions of my Logitech G910 Spectrum gaming keyboard. Arrived today in usual Amazon-quick shipping. Beautiful, bought, love that the letters on the keys light up but no lighting underneath. Programmable keys could not be easier with the G Hub app, simply choose the function you want and drag it to the programmable key you want. I constantly cut and paste so wanted a one key stroke way, bada-bing, done. I had hoped these much hyped Romer-G keys would be quiet keys. The stock iBuyPower keyboard I stole from my son has an almost felt like feel and sound to them (see the video). I had hoped the Romer-G would be similar, but alas, as some reviewers have noted they ate the same mechanical clickety-clack keys and have the same feel as any stock mechanical keyboard. Not loud, just not quiet, standard plasticy feel and sound. Not seemingly much improvement over Cherry. They do have a nice shallow stroke, and just resting my fingers on the keyboard can result in a string of ddddddd... The online manuals suggested the cable would be a plug at both ends. But its hardwired onto the keyboard, no big deal. Lots of color and pattens available through G Hub. All said, sweet keyboard, nice programmability, definitely a good buy of a quality keyboard.UPDATE: Almost a week ion of heavy use. The keys may be clacky, more of a dull clack, but they are really comfortable with mid to short throws. The colors are brilliant and bright, like none I have seen before. Tried capturing it in a photo, but it doesn't do them justice. Did I mention this thing is solid, its heavy, like hit-someone-with-it-they-done heavy. I have programmed the keys using G Hub, and that was a breeze. Highly recommend this keyboard.

I'm a software developper and gamer so I spend most of my time using a computer and I'm the kind of guy who likes to have the best of everything.The keys are quieter than another cheaper mechanical keyboard I own for my PS4 but louder than my girlfriend's mechanical keyboard. I don't have a whole lot of experience with mechanical keyboards so I'm not sure how it compares beyond that. It's definitely very audible but probably not annoying to people outside the room. They're also pretty sensitive so I guess you could actually type really softly and it'd be quiet enough.I really like the volume control. It's a nice touch and beats doing it manually via the OS.The lighting is really cool and you can control each key separately if you like or use presets. Some games even override this to display their own thing such as only highlighting the most useful keys and stuff like that. You can also disable that if you'd rather keep your regular setup.And I mean the keyboard also looks really frickin cool.This G910 is actually my second G910. I had an orange juice accident that and had to find a replacement which perhaps brings me to my only gripe with it. Obviously spilling the orange juice is entirely on me. The problem is that it was really hard to take appart and when I did finally get to the switches well they're welded in so that juice is going to stay there for the time being as I don't have tools or even the space in my flat to tinker with that. Still, I didn't want my productivity impacted by a change in keyboards so I decided to get another. That's how much I like it. I owned the previous one for about three years and never had a complaint.

I am NOT a keyboard person but i can tell this is one of the best keyboards out there10/10 build quality, feels nice and premium 10/10 keyboard sound, this keyboard is so satisfying to type or game on10/10 software, great customisability and the g-keys really helpand this keyboard goes well with the glorious model D, but just remember DO NOT get the orion spark
