iDOO 7 Pods Hydroponics Growing System, Indoor Herb Garden Germination Kit with 24W LED Grow Light, Automatic Timer, Height Adjustable, Smart Garden Planter for Home Kitchen, Red

This was my first time using an indoor hydroponics system.The iDOO Hydroponics Growth system arrived well packaged and with no damage.Within the box you have mostly what you need to get going: system, baskets, sponges (for putting seeds in, basket covers, nutrients and straws (although not referenced in the manual a quick internet search shows that these are for supporting your plants as they grow taller).Obviously you will need to select seeds for what you wish to grow.Setting up was relatively straightforward, however, the manual may not be clear enough for people with little to no knowledge (there is a Facebook support group that is quite helpful).To get up and running you need to mix water in with nutrients A and B. The nutrients then get added to the water (measurements as directed) and water placed into the tank.Next step add sponges into the baskets and then added seeds (manual recommends soaking seeds for an hour in warm water).I then added the basket covers although the manual does not clarify this.Once done fire up the power and the machine lights up and you are off.Once running you then tell the machine when to power down for the night by pressing the power button until it registers. This will then turn off the unit overnight and power it up the following morning.With the machine up and running the light can be quite bright and dazzling so consideration will be needed as to where you will keep it.Within 2 days my seeds have started to germinate and seem to be growing quite well.So far I would fully recommend this system as all appears to be working flawlessly, however, I will add to the review as more time passes.The review has asked me to comment on thickness, warmth and sheerness.Not really sure how any of these will help a perspective buyer but here goes:Thickness - the system seems to be amply thick a d build quality is likely to hold up wellWarmth - I haven’t really noticed any warmth - LED lights don’t seem to generate much heatsheerness -not really sure what I can write about sheerness for a hydroponics system 🤷‍♂️Overall I and very pleased with the system.My only issue is the lack of information in the manual but as I say this can be bolstered by some internet searches or via Facebook groups.System is very straightforward to use and so far is showing good results with no issues

I tend to grow a lot of fresh herbs, in the summer thats fine in the garden, but during the winter it means bringing my plant pots inside. As they need to be by a window in a house without double glazing - its not long before they freeze and die. (Especially Basil!)I have wanted one of these for ages and looked at other brands, but this came in at a price where I was happy to bite.Images show day 1, day 7, and day 13 of franci brand parsley seeds.aside from taking the lids off of the seeds after they had started sprouting, i have not touched these at all. There is a timer that gets them in a 24 hour cycle.The light is pretty bright and intense, but looks pretty cool in the corner of the room.I wasn't expecting it to work - so put multiple seeds in each pod hoping at least one would germinate, except they all did. I should have had more faith in the system!In terms of setup, its real easy. i filled the base with water and pre-mixed the fertilisers - and there is a pump inside that is really quite quiet, and that seems to do a good job, as the tops of the containers are damp to the touch, which suggests that water is flowing to where it needs to.I am interested to see what happens next, and will add to this review in the future as they grow, to see how it works with sustained growth, and when maintaining the herbs, rather than the germination growth phase, but so far everything looks great!Naturally different plants grow at different rates, so my parsley is growing faster than the basil or the tomatoes (those might be a tad ambitious, but we'll see) Its just novel to me to be working with seeds in January, as i normally wouldn't start until April/May.Another benefit to this is that as every herb is in its own self contained pod, in the same area i can grow 7 plants without any of their roots extending out and competing with each other.After wanting one of these for years, I can say that im really impressed with the operating volume, ease of use, lack of mess from soil - and very hands off maintenance. If they continue to grow easily and maintain well - then i think i know what ill be getting a couple of people next Christmas!

So easy to use and my plants double in size by the day! Set it and go- almost no noise, I am so impressed!! This really is to easy!!

I received this a few days ago and have set it up. I'm quite new to the hydroponic garden thing, so obviously, it will take a few weeks or months before I can say for sure, but first impressions are that this is a great indoor garden system. Here are some of my observations:1. Delivery was incredibly fast; I think probably next day, even though I had not selected faster delivery. I got a $20 off on Amazon which prompted me to buy it.2. The unit is smaller than I expected, based on the pictures I saw, but this is a positive for me. I got the red color, which is nice, but now I wish I had got the white one, as it would go better with where I finally decided to place it.3. Installation was easy; I just followed the steps given, and I can't explain it better than that. The build quality seemed good.4. The overhead lights were a good distance above the top level of the unit, which may be a good thing when the plants begin to grow.5. When on, there was hardly any sound. There are different light modes to assist with the growing cycle. It came with the nutrients to add to the water, but I'm not yet sure where to get more of these when I need to replenish.6. It didn't come with seeds, which some may see as a negative. For me, I'm more comfortable if I can choose the type and quality of the seeds I plant. I'm starting off with basil and cilantro.I will try and update the review once the plants grow fully, but for now, I think this looks like a great unit especially for the price.

Ich habe mich sehr gefreut dieses Produkt endlich in meinen Besitz zu haben. Die „Box“ macht einen guten Eindruck. Ich möchte gerne Chilis 🌶🌶🌶 damit züchten.Der Aufbau ist sehr leicht und gut beschrieben im Handbuch. Ich bin sehr gespannt wie die Pflanzen wachsen werden.Die verschiedenen Licht-modis gefallen mir sehr. Der Fakt dass eine Pumpe vorhanden ist um Sauerstoff und Zirkulation zu produzieren ist auch eine gute Sache. Die Pumpe ist recht leise aber wenn dass Geräusch dennoch stört kann man den sleepmodus nutzen. Mit seinen 24W wird das Gerät nicht viel verbrauchen.Wenn meine Pflanzen ein wenig gewachsen sind werde ich noch mal berichten.Bis dahin erst mal volle Punkte 👍

I wanted to try out hydroponic gardening and produce something I enjoyed eating. After reading reviews I decided on the one with a light that could be raised highest so that taller plants could be grown. The description was unclear about what type pods would work in it or whether some were included so I ordered pods as well for lettuce snd tomatoes. There are pods snd they are a bit shorter and square, but the others worked in every space but one. I used four preseeded lettuce pods that were all up in a few days. I had started tomatoes and thinned them and transferred one to a pod. Two tomato pods were also used. In two weeks the transplant and one tomato are growing but the lettuce is doing phenomenal. I followed the instructions and thinned two but left two full to see how they do. Picture shows two week growth.The pump is soundless and the timer makes the whole operation so easy. There were no easy instructions for changing the water (recommended to maintain nutrients) but it wasn’t difficult and I waited two weeks instead of one. Plus I placed in in a dark hall where it adds welcome light.Just added the braces for tomatoes (second picture). What a great idea! Thought I’d have to transplant.The plastic is durable enough for the product and the light is easy to adjust and sturdy. I would definitely buy it again.
