I love this thing. I think I love it a lot more than I would the other kinds that are liking closed. I have heard of some of those catching fire but I don't think there is much chance of this one catching fire. Just be sure of where you're putting it so the flame doesn't get to anything just like a candle. It's a little bit difficult to remove the candle sometimes but that's going to happen with any furnace you get. It's definitely a lot easier to clean than the enclosed furnaces. The sides do not get hot at all I don't recommend picking it up while the flame is lit but if you have to just know it's not going to burn you if you touch the little wood pieces. Which is also good if you blow out the candle and need to move it while it's still hot. I have not had it get hot enough to burn any surfaces beneath it because it is high off the surface beneath it. The spoons fit nicely and don't fall through. I have several spoons that I use. The wax melts great. Have not had any wax burn burn. All in all very satisfied.

The heat from the candle never burned the wax since it was so far down. I had to increase the candle's distance by applying folded aluminum covering the candle holding area to bring it higher. This was the fourth item used to get this to work - I tried a spring and other stacking items. Am very frustrated about this.

Got this for wedding invitation seals. They forgot to send the supposed to be included spoon thankfully a kit I also purchased came with one…. It was kind of flimsy. When making a lot of wax and you have to switch candles Bc it burns out, you have to wait or try to not burn yourself or make a mess trying to remove the other candle. It’s definitely a “you get what you pay for”.

I've had it for a few months and only used it three times and the handle popped off and the spoon is also loose.

Much smaller than I thought but does the job.

I use to for sealing small bottles for crystals its great and easy to use.

Very easy to use. Make sure you get yourself some extra votive candles because the more they melt the longer it’ll take your actual melts to melt (of course).
