My 8-year-old granddaughter loves to bake with me when she visits. She’s just started learning how to decorate cookies and cakes. I have a nice set of bags and tips that were handed down to me from my father-in-law, who was a chef. But I wanted to surprise her with her very own set that she can use at my house when we decorate together. This one fits the bill nicely.This set includes 21 stainless steel decorating tips (#s 1, 8, 16, 24, 29, 31, 32, 33, 45, 46, 69, 74, 96, 98, 101, 104, 106, 154, 158, 199, and 7052), a reusable pastry bag, coupler, and flower nail. It all fits nicely in a sturdy carrying case.To use, unscrew the coupler (plastic piece) and place the long part into the bottom of the bag nice and snug. Snip off any part of the bag that extends past the coupler. Select a tip and place it on the end, then screw on the other part of the coupler. Your bag is now ready to fill with frosting.The way I like to fill my pastry bags is to place them tip-side down in a glass (see picture), and fold the excess bag over the sides. Then just spoon your frosting into the bag, remove the bag from the glass, and secure the end, either with the rubber band provided, or some other fastener. Just make sure not to secure it too close to the end of the bag, or you may have leakage. That’s all there is to it – now you’re ready to decorate. Apply gentle, steady pressure, working your way down the bag until it’s empty. This is much like squeezing a toothpaste tube.I slosh everything around in warm, soapy water to clean. Sometimes I need to use a small bristle brush to clean the frosting from inside the tips.I’ve included a picture of my granddaughter’s finished cake. She baked it from scratch and decorated it completely on her own. She had a lot of fun experimenting with the various tips, and as you can see, she went a little crazy with the frosting. But it’s her work of art and she was very proud of it.This is a nice quality set, with a good variety of tips. It’s a great starter set for the budding decorator. Oh, and our cake is sitting on a revolving cake decorating stand we also purchased on Amazon. This product was provided for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

These are a must have for anyone even interested in baking! The number of tips included is almost overwhelming - so many options to choose from! The entire set is made out of high quality material. The frosting bag is durable and also a pleasant shade of blue. The frosting tips will absolutely survive the dishwasher and are truly built to last. The bag is also made out of a material that makes it easy to grip and therefore easy to use. The entire kits comes in a great storage box that keeps all items easily present and accounted for. Storage is very simple and organized - no more need for a baking drawer with a thousand little pieces floating around in it! I purchased this item for a friend who is an avid baker and she was thrilled by the quality and the wonderful selection of different frosting tips. A great baking tool!

I received a code to try this item out for a review. I thought the tips made very sharp, detailed flowers. I am new to this cake decorating so I definitely needed something that could help aid the "prettiness" of the choices I selected to use on my cupcakes. I absolutely love the case it comes in!!! They tips stay right where you put them and don't move around or get lost. Even the bag fits in the case. And the bag!!! Cleans great! I would love to see a future add on to be able to buy extra silicone bags for when your using multiple colors of frosting. Put eons product, excellent quality!!
