It worked
I was afraid my piano wasn’t going to work. Turns out the only thing wrong was the cable. This cable. Well not the one I bought but the one I replaced. That being said I have a new piano again thanks to power getting back to it again.

Always have an adapter Replacement for your Casio CT -X5000
If you are one who travels or moves around with your keyboard, you could very well drop your adapteron a hard floor. A set of batteries will work for awhile but probably not a three hour show.The cost for an adapter is small.
