This is a pretty decent power washer. I've only used it once but will update my review, if necessary, once this terrible Houston rainy weather clears up. I wish California would get some of this rain.While this machine doesn't seem to put out a great amount of pressure, I consider it more that adequate for home use. This morning I cleaned off a greasy area of my concrete patio. Some grease had leaked out from my BBQ pit a while back ago. Previously, I had tried scrubbing the area with some detergent and a stiff bristle brush but I couldn't get all the grease out. Within a couple of minutes this machine did the trick. I also cleaned the mildew from the rest of the patio without much difficulty.A big thing that I really didn't like is that the hose that came with the system is not the same hose that is in the picture. At first I was really upset (can't use the word that I was really thinking here) and was about to give the machine a 1 star. However, it seems the hose is good enough. It appears to be reinforced and not just some simple plastic tubing. I still don't like the fact that the photo shows one hose and the hose you receive is different. Suggest they change the photo so as not be be deceptive.The hose reel is an absolute waste. It would be better if they had just put a hook and strap to store the hose. I'll never bother trying to spin the hose onto the reel. The space could then be better used for head attachment storage which is lacking in this machine. As far as complaints about the stiffness of the hose, I don't really have an issue with that. For one, I see this same complaint (and worse) for all electric power washers. Also, I have an older gas powered washer and dealing with it's hose wasn't a joy either.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and wouldn't have a problem recommending it to anyone. I'm going to give away my gas power washer to a friend of mine. He needs a power washer and I'm more than happy to get rid of it. As soon as the weather clears I'll be cleaning the driveway, the sidewalk and the mildew from the siding on the house. I can already tell that it will be more enjoyable than struggling with the gas machine.The one thing that I would not use this machine for, or any power washer for that matter, is cleaning my cars. A simple garden hose with light pressure will do the trick. Why treat your nice paint job with harsh high power water. Be gentle to your car.Happy cleaning everyone !!! I love this pressure washer. The unit as delivered was well packed and was easy to put together. I found the Quick Start Guide with its 19 steps, with diagrams, detailed enough to do the assembly quickly. There is also a more detailed Unpacking and Assembly section in the manual and some might prefer using that. The only minor flaw in the instructions referred to the blue garden hose connector (so the user wouldn't mix it up with the pressure hose connector) but both connectors were silver. It was still easy to get them in their proper places.This review is based on my use of the AR383SS only. It's my first pressure washer and I have never used any other. I did not want the hassle of maintaining a gasoline engine but I was worried that an electric one would not be powerful enough. Not to worry. The 0 degree nozzle stripped the paint from my cement patio so I can't imagine needing something more powerful. There are four nozzles included and I would have liked more info in the manual on the types of jobs that each nozzle is best suited for. However, there are a number of introductory videos on YouTube that were helpful in this regard. Now it's so much fun to get things cleaned up I keep looking for more projects.The high pressure hose is rather stiff. It is stored on a small reel at the top of the machine. It has to be completely removed for use and rewound for storage with both steps being somewhat awkward. In between jobs I coil it and hang it on the machine and only for storage do I put it back on the reel. During use the pressure hose, garden hose and electric cord make for a lot of potential tangles. I inadvertently wound up kinking the pressure hose causing the rubber coating to split and the inner core to spring a leak. The hose is still useable since the leak is small but I called the help number to get their advice. A new hose was sent to me at no charge despite the fact that this was definitely my error. Very impressed with good customer service.I like the on/off dial on the front of the machine. When turned to ON the pump runs for a few seconds to pressurize the system, then shuts off. The pump only runs when the trigger on the spray gun is squeezed. The pump is reasonably quiet, nothing like a gas engine, but it's nice that it doesn't run continuously.When I decided that I wanted a pressure washer I checked the local sores, then bought from Amazon based on price and reviews. Great decision with no regrets.

I purchased the AR Blue Clean AR383SS Electric Pressure Washer in 2015. The unit has performed without fail and is a great pressure washer. The multiple spray heads are easy to switch in and out.

If you are looking for a pressure washer for washing cars, windows, and cleaning off siding, this is worth comparing to other units once you understand some of its shortfalls.Out of the box the first item I noted was that the wheels do not turn freely. One of them was actually dragging on the ground instead of turning. A couple of weeks later when I had time to actually assemble it and put it to use I discovered the following items, the supplied water hose coupling and in line filter that come with the unit were useless. With the filter installed in the coupling you there was not enough threads left to even start to attach the hose. If you purchase this buy a quick disconnect hose fitting. The plastic threads on the PVC hose input leak like a sieve. Had to put nylon tape on the threads to stop the leaks. My final complaint is the hose reel. The reel is mounted to towards the top of the unit so when uncoiling the hose, unless someone is holding the unit upright, it has a tendency to tip over. The hose cannot be hooked up to the high pressure side of the pressure washer and be wound onto or off of the reel. To use the hose has to be completely unreeled, then hooked up, reverse the process when done. Everything so far on the high pressure side is functioning as it should.Once I actually got to use the unit I discovered that it did not have a high enough pressure rating for cleaning driveways, and concrete patios. Instead of what should have been about 4 hours of work turned into 2 days. This is what I got from believing 3rd party product reviews instead of doing my own research. The lance is also to short for doing driveways and patios unless you enjoy being bent over for extended periods of time

My other electric pressure washer failed and so I had to decide if getting the gas-powered washer out every time I needed to do a small job was worth the trouble. I decided it wasn't. I ordered this AR which took a little time to get here ( because it's such a popular model I guess ) but soon after setting it up I was out pressure washing everything in sight. This is a very well put together little unit with a good quality feel about it. I needed more than the twenty-five foot hose that came with it so I ordered an AR extension hose which works vey well, extending my cleaning reach to fifty feet. This washer has all the features you need for a quick and easy washing experience.Note: Some owners of this machine have complained about the pressure fluctuating from the machine at times. Mine did the same thing at first ( thetrigger gets pulled and rather than the machine cycling to 'on' it powers up then turns off ) until I made sure absolutely all of the air was purged from the garden hose to the machine. I also removed the screen washer that comes in the machine's hose inlet and replaced it with a normal 'O' hose washer. I think the screen washer was inhibiting water flow maybe just enough to cause the power fluctuations. Anyway this seems to have been a harmless fix unless scale is a problem in your water line I would say it's worth trying.Also: consider getting some cans of 'wintering' spray to insert into the water pump when you put the machine away form the winter. This helps prevent water corrosion as it sits unused and will insure the washer will last a while. Amazon has many brands listed. The aerosol type seems to work the best and is easiest to administer.
