Do not waste of your money.

The first 3 weeks everything was fine, and suddenly at 3:00 AM I heard a noise, when I woke up, I saw my iMac screen on top of my desk. Luckily it did not fall to the floor, otherwise it would have been about $500.00 dollars, for the replacement of a new screen. Right now, the screen is held by the edges with regular tape. Waiting for another brand of tape that I just ordered to arrive. I definitely do not recommend it.

Luckily I order two of them. The way they package them is crap. It comes in a tall baggy all tangled like spaghetti. #13 was stuck to #16 and I had to pull them apart which destroyed #13. I order two bags and had to mix and match both bags do to terrible packaging. Also some of the layers in some areas were coming up from the middle layers. I'm not sure if this was do to hot summer weather. Overall I managed to make it all work and I just stuck the monitor on (iMac 2017 27"). I'm questioning how sticky this stuff is, especially because some spots there was lift off the middle layer. So, I used blue painters tape as a security just incase it comes undone. I'll update my post after a month goes by let everyone know if it held or not

Used this product for upgrade of hard drive. 3 weeks after installation of screen it fell off and cracked. Tore cables out off mother board. Now waiting on new screen. Hoping mother board connectors are not damaged. I would not use this product again. They felt a little thin when I installed them. They did not hold. Spending a little extra for the Ifixit adhesive this time.Data cable connector on board was damaged. Had to replace motherboard also.
