Non it works only with the pixma pro-10 and pro-100.

You can use it similarly to how you'd use the CD/DVD tray. Example: Start a print job, printer will ask for the tray, insert the tray, press a button to continue printing. More instructions are available with the product. I hope this helps.

There’s pvc inkjet card that are compatible with this tray. If you search pvc inkjet they are sold by brainstormid.

You don't need special software to print cards. You can print cards from various different apps too.
