Worth every penny
I installed this sprayer assembly about a month ago. Although pricey, from the git-go it's been top notch. The heft, alone, of this shiny all-metal unit suggests craftsmanship and durability. It's so beefy, with enough lifting repetitions you could actually build arm muscle. Don't get it if you have any pain-producing infirmity in your sprayer-wielding arm (opt for some lightweight plastic junk, instead, and expect to replace it lots more often)! The metal link hose of this unit is generous in length, and feeds readily in both directions. The also-metal mounting base even contains a beefy O-ring in which to seat the sprayer. While increasing the quality, finish, and most likely the durability of the sprayer, this O-ring introduces a tendency to over-grip the sprayer after sitting awhile, increasing the effort required to lift the sprayer out of the mount. Never mind though, I consider that, at most, a minor annoyance for a product that looks and acts like the quality I grew up with in the early 1950's.

Quality may be the Least Expensive!
Superior quality, feels good in the hand and a nice spray pattern. Brass with Chrome plating. Chrome plated hose. Easy installation with a little teflon tape for the faucet stub. Unlike the cheap plastic and nylon hose junk, this quality flexible hose does not become 'stiff' and difficult to pull out and use.The hose can be a bit noisy pulling out and dropping back in, but I dampened the sound with a rubber bushing on the underside of the chrome/brass sink escutcheon mount (the round threaded opening underneath the sink deck) If you do not know what this means, you will once you receive the set. This is well worth the $70-80 expense (shipping/tax). I have replaced 6 of the $12 cheap (non USA made) plastic ones over a decade..... so do the math.I have experience with other Kingston Brass kitchen and bath products, and am pleased with all.

Failed after 4 days :(
The media could not be loaded. Update #2: We unknowingly ordered this sprayer a second time because it came with the Kingston Brass "Mulder Single-Hole Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray" (not from Amazon, but from Signature Hardware). We just installed it Thursday evening to replace our 15-year-old faucet that started leaking, and the sprayer malfunctioned Monday afternoon. It lasted under 4 days with gentle use. The trigger part broke so the water is stuck coming out of the sprayer instead of the faucet. I never would have ordered this again intentionally. The hose is now different (cloth cover instead of metal) so maybe that's been improved, but this sprayer is still a piece of junk! Down to 1 star. See video.Update: After less than 7 months of use, the hose that came with this sprayer failed and water leaked all over the sink cabinet. The hose is clad with metal and seemed so sturdy, but obviously it is not. Our old sprayer with a rubber hose lasted for over 12 years, and was still going strong when a different part of the sprayer failed. I had high hopes for this sprayer and give it a couple of stars just for looks, but what a disappointment to have it fail so quickly :(Original Review: We got this to replace a broken sprayer that came with our original (12-year-old) brushed nickel vintage-look Meridian kitchen faucet. This sprayer is a very nice, heavy-duty, quality sprayer and looks even better than the original side sprayer which was very similar in style. We've only had it for about a month, but it feels like it was built to last.

Looks great. High quality. But, its lever begins to stick after a couple of years.
The bottom line is that I would purchase this kitchen faucet sprayer again due to its high quality and overall appearance. However, for persons with arthritis in their hands, know that it is at least 2X to 3X heavier than regular faucet hand sprayers. Take that into account, since it might cause pain for such a person to handle and operate this heavy sprayer. The downside is that after a couple of years or so, the lever to turn it on begins to stick. When one lets up on that lever to turn the sprayer off, the sprayer continues to spray. I have yet to contact the manufacturer to be advised of the solution, but in the meantime, one may take one's hand not holding the sprayer and manually press down the lever at its "turn off," or top, end -- which sometimes is not convenient to do. But, it solves the problem. It is odd that such an expensive and quality plumbing fixture would have this built-in defect.
