Pretty nice actually.
So far Im really enjoying these speakers. Theyre pretty bright and are absolutely perfect for night driving. During the day they're a little dark though. I originally ordered the 5.25in speakers, but amazon was stupid and sent me the 6.5in speakers. Since I was only free the weekend I got them, I bought a sub box at walmart that would fit the 6.5in speakers. So I took out the ones that were already in them and put the Dual speakers in the box (re soldered all the wires to the duals and redirected new wires for the lights. Then I hooked them up to my T-100 and they worked. If you buy the Scosche sub box there, make sure to disconnect and take out the tweeters on the sides. The Dual speakers have tweeters and do a really good job on sounding good. Now, about the sound. Im 18 and Ive never bought a pair of car speakers in my life. But I am literate and pretty knowledgeable about speakers and sound (due to me being a musician). To me, these were well worth the price. They arent the deepest 6.5in speakers I've heard, and they aren't that great for sub sounds exactly, but the kick VERY well. I love how loud they can go and still sound great, although it DOES depend on your headunit. The lights look cool and are definitely a great addition to these speakers. Id recommend them to anyone. If you dont care for the lights though, go invest into some Alpines. Hope this review helps.

Not too bad, especially for the price.
The price is very affordable, and the light up led's(which I never figured out), is also a great addition. I rated this product 3 stars, mainly because they sounded great at first. But, now they have lost almost all the bass, and I don't know if that is because I installed front door speakers as well(the bass stopped right when I installed those), or if they just aren't getting enough power now that I have all aftermarket speakers, but stock stereo. I'm not sure. Good sound quality, great vocals/highs, and had pretty decent bass before it went out for me. All in all, I would recommend them if you're on a budget. Hopefully I can fix my problem.

Just right for the price
replaced the infinity door speakers in a 2008 dodge mega cab truck. speakers are not marked for polarity and they do not mark which is lights and which is speaker but a visual inspection will provide the answer. the speaker connection has wires running to the speaker that you can see the lights do not. the larger tab is + positive the smaller is - negative. they do not actually fit into the door hole but after tightening them down they do not interfere with the door panel either so no modifications were required. i did not use the plastic covers sent with the speakers. took about 45 minutes to remove the old speakers and install the new including replacing the door panels, so not to bad. they will not annoy the neighbors but they sound ok inside the truck, the other 6 speakers are still infinity so that may be part of it. now i just have to wait a few months and see how they last.

Bang for the buck
I purchased these speakers as a replacement for the cheap old speakers( stock 1992 Camry rear 6x9"s) that i had in a speaker backpack i designed ( 2 6x9's powered by a ~200w monoblock amp, 8AmpHr battery) and i was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of these speakers, sans one. Build quality: These speakers have a nice appealing look, rubber boot protecting the magnet, an attractive grill cover, and well built design. (No glue drips/paint mistakes/carelessness) The frame is sturdy, the magnet is not anything impressive, but it is the same size as my Sony Xsplode 6x9"s that i have. The cone is the only disappointing aspect, as it is cheap thin plastic that has quite a bit of flex. This does not seem to have any noticeable impact on sound. The protective grill is a bit flimsy, and doesn't offer much protection, but is adequate for my situation, and offers a clear view of the speakers. Sound quality: These speakers sound phenomenal for the price, they rival my Sony Xsplode speakers in clarity and bass. I cannot speak as to their performance vs other 6x9's other than the old cheap stock Camry speakers. Performance: Powered by the 200w monoblock amp (the pair of speakers wired in parallel for ~1.5ohms nominal) is so incredibly loud that it hurts to stand in front of these when they are cranked. I performed a distance test one a cold night on these(Witch were in my "basspack", so they were effectively free air, no box) by setting them in the back of my trunk (while open) and running as far as i could while still being able to hear them. I was able to go nearly 1/2 mile while still being able to make out vocals, over a hill and across a road(albeit they were weak at this distance) Light up: These speakers most prominent feature is the illumination, i cannot speak to how well the internal circuitry works when it is powered directly by 12v, but i wired mine in parallel with the amp, so they pulse with the beat of the music when turned up loud. At high outputs they are almost constantly on. They provide an interesting effect that is both stunning and eye catching, and is defiantly worth consideration. Overall i highly recommend these speakers for anyone but the most stingy audiophile, as they are an incredible value for the price. Thank you.
